Vaping Diaries #45: Heather’s Heavenly Vapes Review II

Last year, Raina and I checked out three tobacco e-liquids from Heather’s Heavenly Vapes and walked away impressed. I’ve had a few HHV juices since then and really enjoyed them. Here’s a review of three HHV flavors: Cinful Apple, Heavenly Waffles, and Georgia Peach Tobacco. One of these juices was brilliant, one was very good, … Continue reading “Vaping Diaries #45: Heather’s Heavenly Vapes Review II”

Shu Yoshida Talks PlayStation 4 Development

The excellent Frank Cifaldi from Gamasutra conducted an excellent interview with the excellent group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Shuhei Yoshida. If you’re counting at home, that’s three times the excellence (E3). One of my favorite parts of the interview was Yoshida talking about making the PlayStation 4 accessible to small developers. Check it out: We … Continue reading “Shu Yoshida Talks PlayStation 4 Development”

Jack Tretton on Why Sony Didn’t Show the PS4 Box

Millions of gamers and dozens of game journalists were miffed that Sony didn’t show the actual console during its PlayStation 4 press event. From your comments and Google+ messages, I know that a few of you RPadholics didn’t like the move either. Personally, I think people are making a bigger deal out of the omission … Continue reading “Jack Tretton on Why Sony Didn’t Show the PS4 Box”

Sony PlayStation 4 Launch Event Reactions

Sony just wrapped up its PlayStation 4 launch event and the Internet (mixed) reactions have been fun to read. I want to start my thoughts on the presser by talking about how it ended — new hardware wasn’t shown and price points weren’t announced. A lot of Twitter gamers are pissed about this, but I kind … Continue reading “Sony PlayStation 4 Launch Event Reactions”

Vaping Diaries #27: Ahlusion Review II

Raina and I checked out three more e-liquids from Ahlusion. This time around we went for a beverage theme, choosing Boba Tea, Mimosa Cocktail, and W&A Sasparilla. Boba Tea is based on the popular (for Asians, anyway) dessert beverage from Taiwan, Mimosa Cocktail is a lovely champagne and fruit mix, and W&A Sasparilla is a … Continue reading “Vaping Diaries #27: Ahlusion Review II”

Coffee Talk #552: Worst Game of 2012

Thankfully, I didn’t play many bad games in 2012. That’s one of the few benefits of being forgotten by PR people. That said, there was one game that I found tremendously disappointing. You see, I love George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books and I love the HBO show, Game of Thrones, that’s based on them. The former is one of the most entertaining series of fantasy novels I’ve read and the latter is one of the best television shows ever made. With all of that in mind, the Game of Thrones videogame was…more
