The Vape 48 Week 1: Vaping Utopia’s Kavish Mehta

Welcome to the first episode of The Vape 48 on RPadTV! My goal is to film 48 episodes of the show in 2015. Each one will feature a guest from the vaping business. In addition to getting an update on the guest’s company, we’ll talk about the vaping hardware and e-liquids we’ve been enjoying lately. And yes, I totally lifted the name from DC Comics’ “The New 52.”

Week one of The Vape 48 stars Vaping Utopia owner Kavish Mehta. He talks the three new e-liquids he recently launched: Beez Cream, Eden, and Zion. His hardware choices include Mad Industries’ Penny Mod and Hobo Customs’ Hobo Atomizer. Kavish’s juice picks include e-liquids from Sol Sauce and Ripe Vapes.

As for me, I’ve been digging Psywar Fabrications’ Onslaught Atomizer (thanks Vaping Ape!) and Jiu Jit Juice’s Mata Leao.

Vaping Diaries #234: Vaping Utopia Kavish Mehta Interview (ECC 2014)

Vaping Utopia e-liquids are a great choice for vapers that love to blow clouds and/or enjoy subtle flavors. As someone that normally dislikes juices with artificial and overpowering qualities, I enjoyed several Vaping Utopia flavors. At ECC 2014, I caught up with company owner Kavish Mehta to get an update on utopian happenings. First up, due to customer demand, he’s switching from the stylish glass bottles to plastic bottles that are more functional. Vaping Utopia also had special edition bottles of its popular mango e-liquid, Shangri La, available at ECC 2014.

Lastly — and most importantly — Kavish gave me a “world exclusive” (Geoff Keighley™) on four of the flavors Vaping Utopia has in development. Two of them are fruit flavors. Kavish seems really confident that his strawberry-guava blend will be a winner and also has high hopes for the lime-coconut e-liquid. Since 2014 has mostly been about savory dessert e-liquids for me (with a healthy dose of naturally-extracted tobaccos, of course), I was excited about Vaping Utopia’s dessert flavors. On that front, Kavish has a tres-leches banana-coconut medley that sounds amazing, as well as vanilla Dole whip with organic honey.

While I’d love for all four of those flavors to be released, Vaping Utopia is currently committed to launching two of them. So leave a comment below and pester the company on social media about the in-development flavors you’d like to see. If you’re undecided, do me a favor and vote for the dessert flavors.

Vaping Diaries #176: Vaping Utopia Ronald Cachero Interview

Vaping Utopia is a relatively new e-liquid company that has been getting a lot of buzz. The company is off to an exciting start, with its Shangri La flavor getting strong reviews. Vaping Utopia makes natural-tasting juices that are made in the USA. Its e-liquids don’t contain any preservatives and additives. The flavoring components it uses were made with inhalation in mind, as opposed to many food flavorings used in e-liquids that are made for digestion. The juices come in square glass bottles that feature designs from local artists. The artwork on the “white label” series comes together to form Voltron a continuous image.

I recently caught up with Vaping Utopia executive director Ronald Cachero to learn how the company got started, learn more about its juice making philosophy, get descriptions of the company’s four initial flavors, and to see what’s coming next. Full disclosure: I know Ron from the excellent CaliVapers forum and our mutual buddy Marie Alvarez.

Check out the interview above to learn what Vaping Utopia is all about and stay tuned for a review on these juices in a future Vaping Diaries. Special thanks to Vaping Ape LA for letting us hang out and film there.
