Vaping Diaries #31: When Gaming and E-Cigs Collide

Brandon from Vapor 4 Life’s tweeted this photo of a dude that made a vaping device from a NES controller. As a lifelong gamer and an avid vaper, that’s one of the coolest mods I’ve ever seen. It got me thinking of different “gaming mods” I’d make (if I had the skills and knowhow). The obvious choices for recent devices are mods made from a Wii Remote Plus or a PlayStation Move controller. A box mod made from a Game Boy Advance SP would be pretty sweet. I’d replace the screen with a mirror, which would add some functionality (for vain people). The possibilities are endless!

What kind of videogame vaping device would you make? Would you go with an old-school console or peripheral? Or would you use a newer device?

  1. Hi, Raymond!
I’ve enjoyed watching your reviews on various e-cigs.
I’m newbie to world of vapor. So here I am tol get some advices from who has experiences. Currently, in where I live ‘Korea’ the e-cigs I can easily get is ‘Elips-C’ ‘Emini’ but I cannot decide which one I should get. The determinant factor for me would be draws that matches that of real cigarettes and nice throat hits and etc…
    Any advices?

    Regards,
    Kim

    1. Hi there Kim! Thanks for watching the videos and commenting on the site. Since Ovale is partially owned by a Korean distributor, I think you should try to find the Ovale eVic. It has more power options that the Elips-C or the eMini, so that will help with throat hit. The other factors for throat hit are the ratio of PG and VG. A higher PG percentage gives you more throat hit. The most important factor for throat hit is nicotine dose. The higher the dose, the bigger the throat hit. If that’s your priority then you should probably go with at least 12mg of nicotine and probably 18mg.

      Good luck!
