What Are You Playing This Weekend?

I started playing the iPad version of Final Fantasy III last night. It’s barely different from the iPhone version. That said, it’s still a great version of a really deep game. I love the Final Fantasy job system. While the graphics are relatively new (based off of the Nintendo DS remake), it’s crazy that gameplay that’s more than 20 years old is still so engaging. Aside from that, I’ll be breaking up the RPG excitement with Civilization Revolution. That game is just awesome.

How about you? What’s on your weekend playlist?

      1. My battery life has been pretty crappy but I have been doing an abnormal amount of game playing and video watching.

I managed to kill the phone battery in under 3 hours yesterday. The wall charger is great takes about 30mins or so to fully charge.

      2. I agree with you but I already have chargers and wires at work, home and in the car from the Mytouch 3G. I would go as far to say that the battery from the old phone died just as fast as the G2X with out me doing a damn thing.

      3. It's fine in most situations, but I would definitely need an extra battery for a trade show or a conference. The 1400 mAh battery in the HTC Thunderbolt empties quickly with heavy LTE use. I was hoping that the 1500 mAh battery in the G2X with fake 4G would be much better. It's definitely better, but not what I was hoping for.

      4. I was going to video call you last night to check it out but decided it wasn't the best idea because it ws 1am and all the lights were out lol.

      5. battery life is definitely something I need to be good on a phone or other mobile device.

  1. I've been playing FFX for the last few days. I just got to the Calm Lands, or the "Level up Lands" as my wife and I call them.

Other than that I may play some Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 or some MLB 2k11.

    1. Let me know how that game is. Compare it to the first one if you can (as a reference point).

      1. I never played the first one. I'm enjoying Portal 2 though. It's a thinking game.

  2. Homework like crazy for the most part. I have about 3 papers due next week.

I also realized I have a bunch of EV reducing berries on my Diamond version so I am growing a bunch of them (should have about 50-60 of each by tomorrow night if I water them all enough, and if I can transfer some of the berries from the legendary beasts and celebi events on to my diamond version and can grow some of those soon then I'm thinking of opening a berry shop at the bulbapedia forums and trading for some shinies, or at least making it a big offering thread instead of a shop.

Then on Sunday it's a huge Easter dinner, and we will finally have dill potatoes so I'm ready for that!!

  3. N8, I finally scored a used copy of Dead Rising 2 on eBay for cheap a few hours ago. Hopefully I'll be getting it sometime next week (*crosses fingers*).

If that's the case, I hope I can pull you away from DCU for a bit to show me around Fortune City.

  4. I tried out EVE Online the last 2 days. Wow that is a really hardcore MMO compared to the other 5 I've played. Anyone else mess with it?

Im interested in Black Prophecy so I thought I'd see what a spaceship MMO was like lol

  5. Still playing Battlefield P4F a lot. More than I should actually XD I still need to beat Neir and AC: Brotherhood, but Battlefield is so tempting.

    1. Yeah you need to hurry up with Nier or AC: Brotherhood >__>

On a side note I loved FFIII for DS. The job system is what makes it good! And I have the little white mage job from III tattooed on me, as part of my FF sleeve :3

  6. And as for what I'm playing this weekend, well I beat Ar Tonelico Qoga's first playthru finally. I think it was 46 hrs ^^ but only 47% trophy completion and it was only one of the story endings. But I need a break so I'm finally determined to beat New Vegas, or possible play RB3 with the hubs. And Plants v Zombies on the DS ^^

  7. Looks like Brandon Marshal will be playing the classic "look for a new wife" level in the game of life after he gets through recovery from being stabbed and sent to intensive care by his wife.
