Today’s Poll: Who Does Scott Pilgrim Belong With?

I finally got around to seeing Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I loved the comics and really liked the movie. Obviously loads of details were cut and left out in the transition to film, but I was surprised by how I reacted to Scott’s love interests in the different mediums. In the comics, Ramona Flowers is way more likable and her relationship with Scott is more developed. In the movie, I was completely charmed by Ellen Wong’s portrayal of Knives Chau. In fact, I preferred the alternate ending (posted above) where Scott ends up with Knives.

Anyway, if you’ve seen the movie and/or read the books, please let me know who you think is best for Scott.

  1. I also thought that he would end up with knives in the movie. When i read the books i actually thought he would end up with kim again after ramona left him.

You know what i didnt like about the movie was how kim and envy were really under utilized. I wouldve loved to have seen them more of them.

    1. In general, I thought that a lot of the comics' charm was taken out of the movie. I still enjoyed it, but I thought the changes and omissions were more detrimental than the ones in the Kick Ass movie.

      1. I enjoy it too! Ive been watching that movie like once a week now. Its passed my multiple viewings test. Its good movie even though it leaves out a big chunk of the series. Youll only miss it if youve read it before the movie but im really glad that it got my sister to read the books. She doesnt like to read anything!

Good one. Lisa Miller was also another girl that shouldve made an appearance in this movie.

You know what i really liked was the scott p animation clips. Mr Lee shouldve gotten those peole to do all 6 volumes into a cartoon movie and then they couldve included it in bluray release
