Last week, we discussed our favorite videogame commercials. Let’s enter the bitter barn and talk about the worst videogame commercials we’ve ever seen! As for me, that’s easy. Just look at this piece of crap.

This Final Fantasy Tactics Advance commercial is wretched any way you slice it. The acting is horrible. The concept is horrible. The commercial does nothing to convey the depth and complexity of the game. It just…sucks on so many levels. What makes it worse is that the spot is for a fantastic game. Ugh. I’m getting worked up just thinking about it.

    2. Gha! You stole that video from my favorite video game commercials list yesterday. I don't blame you for not noticing, though. It came out as a wall of text even though I thought I had spaced it out pretty well. Anyway, here's another f-ed up Zelda commercial followed by the greatest, most awesomest Zelda commercial EVER!

  4. Anyone else watch the Pacquiao/Margarito fight? I thought Manny was going to win going into it, but I didn't expect him to brutalize Margarito like that. He literally broked Margarito's face (fractured orbital bone).

    1. i did. i posted about what i thought earlier but i can’t find where i left that comment. i didn’t expect Manny to break Margarito’s face. I’m glad to see he didn’t quit like some other fighters have in the past. I really thought he had a chance until Manny stopped him with that body punch in the 3rd or 4th round. i think it took Margarito a couple of rounds to catch his second breath. I think Mayweather will duck Pacquiao for sure now.

    1. That's actually the kind of beating that can contribute to Parkinson's. His corner, the referee, and the Texas State Athletic Commission failed at their jobs. The fight should have been stopped in the tenth round.

      1. yeah the ref and doctor failed. They boxing commission's should let Texas hold another "major" title event again for that. My friends and i were talking about the ref should've stopped it a long time ago. The eye test of how many fingers doesn't help if you have perfect vision in one eye or if you have a dominant eye.

      2. Garcia's excuse was appalling: "He's a warrior and he wouldn't let me stop the fight." Well jackass, you're his trainer and it's your job to protect your fighter from himself.

      3. that’s also true but Mexicans are stubborn. you should know that after all the boxing you’ve watched. I think that a lot fans are proud that he took that whooping. I don’t see him boxing again for a year and if he does i’ll be surprised if he comes back at half the boxer he used to be. we should’ve seen this coming after Mosely beat him to a bloody mess a year ago.

    the toys r us in metairie Louisiana has 12+1 xbox live cards for $23 dollars, bought 2 friday and there was a bunch left (didn't want to be THAT GUY who snatched them all up).

    prolly just a regional deal, but that would be worth checking out (dont know how far metarie is from NOLA btw)

    1. did some research, its a national sale…call your local toys r us and stock up people…that is, if they have any left

      1. thanks for the heads up. I also applied there, so I need to stop back by sometime anyways. This would be a good excuse for doing that.
