Fifth Generation Pokemon Revealed: Meet Zorua/Zoroark

The first fifth-generation Pokemon has been revealed by CoroCoro magazine and its name is Zorua/Zoroark. After revealing what is essentially the god of Pokemon (Arceus) in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, The Pokemon Company and Game Freak are going with a dark-type for the latest “feature” Pokemon. Serebii.net revealed:

First, the pre-evolution Pokémon is called Zorua/ Zoroa (???) and is a Dark-type Pokémon. Its classification is Evil Fox Pokémon, it is 0.7m tall and 12.5kg.

Secondly, the Pokémon in the sihlouette is said to be called Zoroark/Zoroaaku (?????)and is also a Dark-type Pokémon. Its classification is Monster Fox Pokémon, it is 1.6m tall and 81.1kg.

As I mentioned at the end of last month, there will be a new Pokemon RPG released by the end of 2010 in Japan. Unless you can read Japanese, I wouldn’t count on catching Zorua or Zoroark until 2011.

  2. @LarcenousLaugh I always thought Vulpix sounded like an STD. There was one episode of Pokemon when the narrator ended the recap with, "And Brock got Vulpix." Considering how horny he was, an STD made sense.

  3. Whenever Venusaur would come out in Super Smash Bros, it always sounded like it was saying My Penis-is-Sore.

    For a Middle schooler back then it made for hours of non stop laughter.

  4. I want to see Brock get laid one episode with either Nurse Joy or Officer Jenny (or both). Lord knows the poor guy deserves it after years of wandering around the world with an annoying kid and a prude.

    C'mon people… let him have what he's after at least ONCE.

  7. @iceman yeah prude is an understatement!! haha.

    I am actually pretty excited to get this game, I sort of got back in to pokemon with diamond/pearl, but maybe I will really get into this new gen. This is one series that I am not as knowledgeable about as I wish I was, but it is sooooo in depth sometimes that it makes it hard to keep up with.

  8. I really do need to finish Pearl. I get so lazy sometimes lol. The new pokemon names remind me of Zora from LoZ lol. But the one on the left resembles Shaymin in the face.

    Now I gotta play catch up and get me a DS.

  11. @ray sounds good as long as I don't have to grow out a braid of hair, that would get annoying to me after a while.
