Today’s RPad.tv “PadCast” features SwitchGames founder Jason Crawford. In addition to getting an update on Crawford’s burgeoning peer-to-peer game-trading service and community, we…kind of go all over the place. Things start off with an update on SwitchGames and move on to your excellent questions, where Crawford reveals how digital distribution will affect his business. From there we chat about the Apple tablet, what James Cameron and Rivers Cuomo have in common, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and more!
It’s long, but I think it’s a fun and informative conversation. As always, huge props to N8R for putting the video together. Please check it out and let me know what you think (please)!
Wicked stuff Ray, thanks for the mentions. It sounds like a pretty cool community. I should check it out.
I will say though I am never a pack-rat but I have the hardest time getting rid of games. I don't even trade them in anymore. I keep thinking one day I'll play them again. (many times I do, but it's games like Kotor)
@ Smartguy
Way to get someone talking for a half hour!
@ Larcenous
Though he only used one sentence, my grammar skills placed a comma in there. Since he used the cookies in one sentence, I'll allow him the comma… what about you?
@Larcenous – I think the comma/cookie use was more than justified, it was damn well impressive.
@ Iceman
I was beginning to think no one would notice. Thank you for breaking my disillusion.
I finally got around to listening to the whole interview. Great job! I like the PadCast. Thanks for the mention.
Also, I damn near spit milk out my nose when I read the SwitchGames complaint form filled out by N8R. Come to think of it, I think my Battletoads game is broken as well.
