PSA: GameStop Offering 50% Trade-In Bonus Until March 14

GameStop has a pretty sweet promotion running until 3/14/10 that allows you to receive 50 percent more credit for your game trade-ins. While GameStop’s trade-in value is usually pretty poor, the bonus makes it decent to good, depending on the title. While I’d love for all of you to buy your games through Amazon using my links, this deal is too good to dismiss. I’m going to go sort through my collection to see if I can scrounge up funds for Pokemon: SoulSilver and Dragon Age: Origins Awakening pre-orders.

PSA: Xbox Live Deals of the Week (Three Games!)

Microsoft has three games on special for its Xbox Live Deal of the Week: Marvel vs. Capcom 2, TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled, and Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao. The games are 800, 400, and 800 Microsoft Points, respectively. I was interested in Re-shelled when it was released, but never got around to picking it up. At 50 percent off, I’ll probably pick it up this week.

Any of these games interest you guys and dolls?

Portal: Still Alive is the Xbox Live Deal of the Week

Microsoft’s Xbox Live Deal of the Week is Portal: Still Alive for 800 Microsoft Points. Originally part of The Orange Box, Portal received a ton of critical hype and all of it was deserved. Blending puzzles, action, and great storytelling, Portal wasn’t what I was expecting at all (and I mean that in the best way possible). If you haven’t played this game, I highly recommend it. It’s unique, fresh, and inventive — just an amazing experience.

The good news is that it’s on sale for $10. The bad news is that it might be a better deal to just buy The Orange Box for less than $20.

PSA: Free WiFi at McDonald’s Starting Today

McDonald’s has announced that it has started offering free WiFi at 11,500 of its 14,000 locations. So after you grease up your hands with a Big Mac value meal, you can get crap all over your laptop or smartphone.

Do any of you use WiFi at McDonald’s? If not, will you start doing so now that it’s free?
