AFC/NFC Championships: What You Learned

Super Bowl XLVII is set with an all-Harbaugh extravaganza between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers. Before I ask for your Super Bowl picks and predictions, let’s talk about the  AFC/NFC Championship Games. Were you surprised by how thoroughly the New England Patriots were shut down? Remember when 49ers fans weren’t sure that Colin Kaepernick should be starting? Does anyone else scream, “Gore! Gore! Gore!” (think JR calling a WWE Rhyno match) whenever Frank Gore scores a touchdown? Kindly discuss and dissect the Championship Games in the comments section.

  1. Nobody ever shouted “Gore, Gore, Gore” back when he was playing at Miami, so I guess that’s a San Francisco thing. You may not know this, but Gore not only went to UM, but he also grew up in Miami as well. I’m super proud of him, Ed Reed and Ray Lewis (well, Lewis has a big asterisk on his name because of that whole murder thing, but other than that…) It’s a shame that they can’t all win a Super Bowl ring because they all deserve it.

Can’t believe the Pats went out like a bitch. Sometimes, I wonder if this game is fixed to a small degree. Vegas can do that to a sport (see: boxing).

    1. I told you that Atlanta wasn’t going to the Super Bowl. Just like I tell my wife: “You’d be a lot happier if you just listen to me.”

  2. As much as I want Ray Lewis to go out a loser, I can’t stand the thought of somebody else having 6 Lombardis. Yet, the thought of cheering for the dirty birds rattles my nerves.

To hell with it, I’ll just watch hockey or Netflix. This can’t end well.
