Ned Stark / Boromir (Sean Bean) Stabbed in a Bar Fight

Master thespian Sean Bean (Ned Stark in Game of Thrones, Boromir in The Lord of the Rings) was recently stabbed in a bar fight protecting the honor of his lady. According to Perez Hilton, Bean was out with Playboy bunny April Summers (hot photo below!) when a drunken patron insulted her. The ensuing scuffle led to Bean being stabbed in the arm with a shard of broken glass. Now here’s the completely cool part:

However, he ultimately REFUSED medical attention, and merely borrowed the bar’s first aid kit, and then ORDERED ANOTHER DRINK!

Ned Stark is my hero…for the reasons above and below.

  1. Took three massive orc arrows to kill him in the LotR's, and a pissed off James Bond to do it in GoldenEye. A little glass cut ain't gonna hurt him.

  2. Game of Thrones Spoiler

Even in death Ned bitched Joffrey. Remember the first episode where Ned told Brann that the one who does the sentencing must swing the sword? I thought that was fitting.

I'm now in the 2nd book and I must say that Martin has a long list of characters. Similar to ShoGun. I'm interested to see how they handle this influx of characters that seemingly lacks a main character to do a TV show now.

  3. I was surprised nobody brought up the, "One does not simply walk into Mordor video." Here it is in all its goofy glory!

  4. I'm sick of Bean's characters always getting wasted off in films. Kinda feel like an older and more mature "Boromir" was killed way too quickly. "The Game of Thrones" is over for me and poor Ned barely made it through the first quarter.
