Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that starting February 27, 2011 the PlayStation Portable will cost $129.99. Do you guys and dolls care? While there are a lot of casual gamers that will be happy to pick up a PSP on the cheap, enthusiast gamers have the Nintendo 3DS and Sony NGP to look forward to in 2011. Is the price cut too late for you to care about? Or is it a great deal on an underrated system with lots of fantastic games? Kindly vote in today’s poll and sound off!

I would care except since I moved I haven't even bothered to look for my PSP. I just don't play it anymore.
It sounds great in theory, and I think I would like to have a PSP sometimes. For example, one of those times would be if I get a job in the city and I have to commute by way of the train, I will probably want a PSP so I have something to do on the way. However, every time I think it sounds like a good idea to look into getting one, I can't think of enough games that I would play to justify getting one.
And maybe this is just my browser, I'm about to reload the page and retry this after I make this post. But I see what you are doing here with this poll…when I tried to answer 'who cares? 3DS and NGP are almost here' it told me to choose a valid poll answer…haha!! that's a clever way of getting the poll results you want.

Nope. I will buy the NGP for my son though.
I already have a PSP, so this doesn't concern me that much. Besides, the 3DS and NGP are going to be released this year. Not much of a reason to get the PSP now when those two handhelds will be released.
I suppose I'd care less if my wife hadn't recently dropped our PSP, and since it's as fragile as an unstable mental patient we now have to hold the memory stick at just the right depth while saving to be able to save a game anymore…..
