  1. I am upset that we did not get a teaser to the director's cut of the mini-documentary of the photo shoot for this poster.

Please remember that for next time.

Also, we should be notified when you do the "not a review" of the video game tie-in to this poster. Rumor has it that you play the role of image editor and have to use the on-screen prompts in a series of quick-time events to mimic the exact motions used when photoshoping the image to make the poster.

  2. Speaking of movies… I've now seen just about everything in Oscar contention with exception to the last quarter of the King's Speech, because I fell asleep 3 times. Not because it's boring, but because I keep putting it on too late. I actually like the movie and Colin Firth does an incredible job as well does Geoffrey Rush (he should have got the Oscar for Quills). Anyway, here's what I would pick for the big ones:

Best Picture: I like 127 Hours or the Fighter. I don't think they'll give it to 127 hours though, so I'll go with the Fighter. For as awesome as Toy Story 3 is… I honestly think it just doesn't belong in the same category as all the other films nominated. I'll be pissed if Kids Are Alright wins.

Best Actor: I'd like James Franco to get it, but I think the politics will forbid that. Mainly for the same logic behind "Never go full retard" as explained in Tropic Thunder. I think the Academy doesn't want to give it to actors for movies where it's 72 to 120 minutes of just them on screen. I personally think that should give the actor more credit, but Tom Hanks didn't win for Castaway, and Will Smith didn't win for I Am Legend. So… I think it will go to Colin Firth, and he deserves the nod as well. To be fair though, I haven't seen Biutiful.

Best Actress: I liked the chick in Winter's Bone. She was cool, young, and awesome. Totally believable as well. To be fair again, I haven't seen Rabbit Hole. Natalie Portman is on the fence with me. If she never did ballet in her life before this film… that's impressive. But… (and a big one) the rest of her performance in the movie was meh at best.

Best Director: I'm a David Fincher mark as well as a Coen Bros. mark…. but after evaluation… I'm gonna say Tom Hooper for King's Speech.

Supporting Actor: Hand's down Christian Bale. Holy Hell! As stated before, Geoffrey Rush should have got it for Quills.

Supporting Actress: Haven't seen Animal Kingdom, Helena Bonham Carter almost phoned it in, and the girl in True Grit was okay. It comes down to Amy Adams and the mom in the Fighter. Honestly, my favorite supporting actresses in the Fighter were the sisters. Those bitches had me on the floor laughing my ass off consistently because each one of them reminded me of a girl I know back in Pittsburgh. I think Amy Adams was awesome and hot in it… but the mom (Melissa Leo) was actually holding a candle with her performance next to Christian Bale. Bale did not outshine the mom… so I'm going for Melissa Leo.

      1. I enjoyed it and all and I REALLY hope it gets Best Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin is awesome)… but I think when it comes to the big ones… the competition outshines them.

I'm rooting for David Fincher for Director, but I think Hooper did a better job. Eisenberg… did ok but wasn't great. Best Picture… not compared to the Fighter or 127 Hours.

      2. i really hope trent reznor gets the nod for best score……(was he nominated? I dont even know!!)
