Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have revealed the names of the Pokemon Black and Pokemon White starters! The grass starter is Snivy, the fire starter (not “Firestarter“) is Tepig, and the water starter is Oshawott. I can’t wait to meet them!
How about you? What do you think of the English names for the starters? Which one are you digging?
Either Tepig or Snivy. I've never been big on using the water starter to play through the game with, but they are OK afterwards I guess. Fire is usually a good one, but I preferred my bulbasaur in Kanto. Chimchar was my favorite for 4th gen. though. It will be a tough decision when Black/White come out here in America.
I'm not too happy about the region name change though, I would really prefer that wasn't true and they just stuck with Isshu.
Mudkip is one of the best starters ever. It can become a great bulky water Pokemon.

I've gotten all of the training items I need in Heart Gold now so I am trying to start my breeding there. The stat checker and knowing the characteristics that correspond with certain IV's is extremely helpful in comparison to breeding and checking IV's on Diamond. It is annoying to not have a step counter app though.
