What Are You Playing This Weekend?

After playing dozens of hours of Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, I need to take a break from the game. My review is done, but there are still some odds and ends I want to take care of…but that can wait for later. A bunch of my friends that can read Japanese are playing Pokemon Black/White. I’m extremely jealous and I wish I took more than a semester of Japanese in college. Hmph. I suppose playing some Pokemon SoulSilver will make me feel better. Yes, that’s what I’ll do this weekend!

How about you? What’s on your weekend playlist?

  1. Considering picking up Enslaved at Frys for $50, maybe I'll grab the demo first. Other than that nothing much. But I might try out that Halo Reach exploit since I never play online anyway.

  2. I would actually love to play some pokemon! Maybe I will break out the GBC and play some blue version.

    My fiance is coming down here this weekend so who knows what I will be doing, hopefully L4D is somewhere in the mix. I will probably finally watch Iron Man 2 and the Karate Kid this weekend though! Sunday will probably be board games and card games again, and Monday and Tuesday will probably be all homework for the most part.

  3. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It's been getting good reviews so far and I'm anxious to give it more than the 15 minutes I've had time to put into it so far.

  4. NBA 2k11, some WoW and maybe pick up Castlevania.

    Bachelor party tomorrow night in NOLA so play time will be at a minimum.

  5. Was hoping to pick up Castlevania, but our car broke down. So it comes first. I'm at the very end of Atelier Rorona, but I'm very much stuck lol. And the hubby is off all weekend, so I'll prolly hit the DS and let him have the ps3 for a little while lol.

  6. @Smartguy;

    Funny, I've always been under the impression that a bachelor party increases "play time".

    We are going to the casino first, we'll see how much fun can be had afterward.

  8. Well my plans changed a little. My fiance got here last night and then about an hour later got a call that her uncle died. I don't think we are going back up quite yet because I don't think she can handle going back up home and being around all of her family's mourning right now.

    To be honest, I love it. It's storytelling type atmosphere is cute. And very much girlie. And I'm allowed a girlie game every once in a blue moon(even tho I'm salivating for Castlevania and New Vegas lol). Butttt….of course like every Atelier game is craft heavy. You just make stuff that people request with in time limits with some very few RPG fighting elements. Most men are like "wtf" and I've been teased PSN lol. But all in good fun. I don't know your full range of RPG love (but I know it's high) lol, but it's prolly leaned towards otakus and chicks :P

  10. Oh I forgot to mention Ray that the game came in a large box with an art book for Atelier Rorona. I think that's the only kind sent to the states *i think*. I'll email you a pic.
