Whats a sweet FA?
I thought about buying it for about 2 minutes this past weekend. Then I played the demo at bestbuy and realized eventhough Brees is on the cover, it is still Madden.
im with you smartguy, even though this is my year to buy madden (buy it every other year) i think i may pass until gamestop has a buy 2 get 1 deal again
yeah i'm not picking up Madden this year either. Maybe instead of an online Madden league, what about a fantasy football league?
I second the fantasy football league. I might just find out how much it will cost me to buy the cover for madden 11.

@tokz_21 I never got into fantasy football or basketball. For some reason I've only enjoyed fantasy baseball.

i tried baseball once last year and won but i'm still not a fan of it or fantasy basketball. what didn't you like about it? is it because you're on the west coast and it means you'll have to get up super early after a saturday nite binge drinking session.

Ya know, I played the downloadable demo, and I kind of enjoy the whole gameflow thing.
I might actually get this one.

Max Headroom the complete series comes out tomorrow on DVD.
I remember that from way back in the day (it's on a Wednesday btw, just a little fun fact)

i don't remember anything about that show but i am intrigued to see it and see what the big deal of it was besides the graphics.

I don't remember much about it, mostly because I was 6 or 7 when it was on. I think I remember commercials more than anything. The stuttering voice and jerky movements.
I read in the beginning of the show that there were NO computer graphics. It was all foam rubber and makeup. The guy from is the same guy from Doctor Doctor.
I have no clue how the actual show was.

i just remember max from back to the future II.
@tokzI was referring to not knowing what Max Headroom was about. And I bet Back to the Future is where I remember him from too. But i know he did real Coke ads too.
I haven't bought a Madden title since 2004, and I'm not going to buy the game again this year. Maybe if they had Ronnie Brown on the cover, I'd consider it. But then again, if Smartguy can forego buying the game even with his beloved Brees on the cover based on principle, then I can do the same.
