I’d like to say that I’m going to jump right back into Final Fantasy XIII
this weekend, but considering that I’ve been back in America for 14 hours, that’s probably not happening. I need to settle down, adjust to Pacific time, catch up on a ton of email, etc. When I need a mental break (i.e. escape from reality), I’ll probably jump back into Civilization: Revolution on my iPhone. Outside of that, I don’t see myself doing much heavy gaming. Of course I could always be convinced to play some Uno this weekend. Ha!

no playing for me this weekend. too many things to do. B-day's. Cubs game, B'hawks and Bulls playoff games. Pavlik fight tomorrow. Volunteer work Sunday. Where's my cloning machine when i need it?!
FFXI, FFXIII, and I really need to play some Bad Co. 2 with my friends. I Haven't played anything on my 360 since the weekend before last and I need to hoop on and say hi to everyone before next weekend when I raise my first Chocobo in FFXI. No life next weekend XD
I dont know yet because National Grid is working in my neighborhood this weekend and the power will be out for god knows how long.

I'm hoping the Berto fight was eh and i don't want to acknowledge the fact that i watched Hopkins v RJ jr. I want to see some exciting boxing and Pavlik should do it. May has potential to be a good month for boxing.
I think I'm gonna try to make some free time for some Gears 1, I will probably be up for some Uno at some point as well if anyone else is.
I am also going to keep trying for the Mile High Club achievement on modern warfare…I hate that achievement…I played for three hours straight and just could not get that one, but it's the only thing left on the game for me. My hands started to hurt last night from playing that level so much, still kind of cramped and sore actually.

If you are up for some Gears 1 later today I should be free. I would also suggest Crackdown, but my copy won't play. The game freezes during the load sequence.
Just started my 3rd play through of Uncharted 2.
I'll be playing MLB 2K10 for sure. I also have Bioshock 2 and LittleBigPlanet out from Gamefly, and I want to try and dig into both of them. I've played a little bit of Bioshock 2 and it's just not doing it for me. I think the uniqueness of the setting was a much bigger selling point the first time around.

LBP was very disappointing for me. I think I haven't picked up Bioshock2 for the same reason you stated.
I'm boiling crawfish Saturday. For those who have never done that a crawfish boil means a ton of food, endless beer, and a good hangover on Sunday.

I agree with Smartguy LBP was very disappointing to me too but my gf loves it. Have you been watching the NHL playoffs it's been very exciting. I've watched every game and i can't wait for the Hawks to take the ice tonight.
@tokz: I've been flippin' back and forth between the hockey and baseball. I live out in Phoenix, so seeing the 'Yotes beat the Red Wings the other night made me a happy camper. But the Yankees winning 6 of 9 to start the season while playing Boston, Tampa and Anaheim is a good sign as well.
@Smartguy: Haven't checked it out yet. Was never all that interested in LBP, but I figure now that I've got a PS3 I owe it to the game to check it out as a rental. I'm not nearly creative or dedicated enough to make any levels myself, which means that I'll never get the same value out of that game as other might.

I bought it strictly to do the platforming. I didn't care about the editing. I found the game was too easy. A friend of mine loved it though.

Yeah it is a good start for Yankee nation and it was good to see the 'Yotes come back to steal that game from the Red Wings. i hate them!
@Tokz: Any time the Red Wings lose, it's good for the 'Hawks. I think they're the one team that I'm scared of. Although, Barry Melrose picked the 'Hawks to win it all, which is essentially the kiss of death. So I'm expecting a swift 2nd round exit.
@Smartguy: Like I said, I'll check it out. I'm not expecting it to be my favorite game, but I'll give it a fair shake.

Admittedly I've only given Bioshock 2 about an hour of my time. But damn if that game doesn't need to balance out it's audio. I have to turn the volume way down during the fights and way up during dialog. but since half the time they happen at the same time it's incredibly frustrating. And I can't play a game with that level of violence and cursing while my son is awake, nor can I play a game that is that damn loud while he's asleep. So right away it managed to piss me off by being more or less unplayable at anytime in my house.

I'll babysit your kid for you while you play Bioshock. My sister has two toddlers, so me and my wife know how to handle the little rugrats. I charge $20 per hour which includes home-cooked meals, a trip to the park and lessons on how to speak Spanish.

@Iceman: I live in Phoenix, which is likely out of your babysitting range. Although it's my wedding anniversary next Thursday, so if anyone can recommend a good sitter in the Phx, AZ area so we can go out, I'd appreciate it.
I had no idea Bioshock 2 had adult language. I don't have kids so it doesn't matter, but interesting to know.

Ok the power is still on! Its raining so I'm hoping NSTAR is rescheduling that power outage until further notice. I should be on XBL all day as long as there is power, if not it looks like I'm gonna build me a few new power decks for Magic the Gathering. Haha I used power 4 times or is it 5?
