What Are You Playing This Weekend?

Where the hell did this week go? Between this web site, physical therapy, and trying to figure out ways to make money, it was a complete blur to me. The good news is that it’s weekend game time! I’m still playing Vandal Hearts, but it’s probably going to take a back seat to my new copy of Army of Two: The 40th Day. Like the legendary Austin Aries, I enjoy cooperative gaming a ton. My friend was telling me that the latest Army of 2 offers some interesting moral choices. I’m curious about those. I’m not even sure about the moral mindset of mercenaries (aside from Deadpool).

I’ve also downloaded Rhyme Player for iPhone. It’s a simple rhythm game with a limited song list, but I can’t stop playing! I think I’ll write a (not) review next week.

  1. Nothing. I will be heading up to Indianapolis for 3 weeks and getting my CDL. by march ill be driving a large truck here and there, but I will be catching up on my games and getting a PS3 within 4 months so I am pretty excited.

  2. @Hrolf That's awesome! I hope that means that things are looking up for you on the work front. I also hope that it means you might be driving Optimus Prime one day.

  3. yea I already have a company that hired me, and if i ever buy my own rig i might do classic Optimus colors, but not the movie version.

  4. hmm probably some NSMB wii. I'm still stuck on World 4! I just saw the commercial and remembered that but after that i don't have another game to devote time to, busy weekend.

  5. I think I'm going to try "Horde Mode" in Gears of War 2 with my wife. I would like to get some of those achievements and my wife always wants to play co-op with me. I think Army of 2 is next on her list since she found out it you can play local co-op on it. Also, she is looking forward to Bioshock 2 since she liked the story of the first one while she watched me play.

    If you ever get around to playing and beating Army of Two, Mr. Padilla, please let me know in your "Not a Review" segment how it went.

  8. Probably still playing Mass Effect 2. Maybe play either Demon's Souls or the new Ratchet & Clank to switch things up. Have to pick up Dante's Inferno on Tuesday.

  9. Today and tomorrow will be Bioshock and CoD: MF2. And maybe some MvC2. However on Sunday, No games will be played be this man. I will be too busy supporting the Who Dat Nation in its first Superbowl Victory.
