Coffee Talk #51: Horrendous Moments in Professional Wrestling

Welcome to Coffee Talk! Let’s start off the day by discussing whatever is on your (nerd chic) mind. Every morning I’ll kick off a discussion and I’m counting on you to participate in it. If you’re not feelin’ my topic, feel free to start a chat with your fellow readers and see where it takes you. Whether you’re talking about videogames, the sudden death of Brittany Murphy, how the NFL playoff picture is shaping up, or the U.S. government’s healthcare reform efforts, Coffee Talk is the place to do it.

In Coffee Talk #45, Iceman asked for a column dedicated to the worst moments in professional wrestling. Here it is! As much as I love the “sport”, it has served up so many ridiculous storylines and scenarios, some of which made me question why I was a fun. At the end of the day, I’ll always love the violent soap opera that is professional wrestling, but I can’t forget its stupidity. Here are two moments that made me go, “WTF?!?”

Sid Vicious and Vader Send a Midget to Blow Up Sting’s Boat

Every now and then, I have to watch this old WCW video to remember that this actually happened. While Davey Boy Smith and Sting played volleyball on the beach, the heels employed a short person to blow up Sting’s boat. Forget the overacting by the heels or the unintentionally gay beach-volleyball scene — some WCW writer thought the heels would get heat by sending a little person to blow up Sting’s boat! It’s especially sad that the legendary Harley Race was used in this nonsense.

Robocop Saves Sting From the Four Horsemen

WCW had a number of lame celebrity angles over the years — Jason Hervey, Jay Leno, David Arquette, Dennis Rodman, Kevin Green, Karl Malone, etc. The worst of the bunch involved Robocop. Sure, this angle took place when pro-wrestling wasn’t up front about being staged, but what kind of moron would believe that a fictitious movie character would come to the aid of Sting? On the plus side, major professionalism points have to be awarded to Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, and Sid Vicious for pretending to be scared of Robocop and not bursting out in laughter.

Bonus: Shawn Michaels Oversells Hulk Hogan

Okay, this isn’t one of wrestling’s worst moments, but I love watching this clip and I wanted to share with you. Shawn Michaels bent over backwards to get Hulk Hogan over in this angle, even going as far as to turn heel. HBK was originally booked to win this match, but Hogan exerted creative control and put himself over. Annoyed that he gave up so much only to become a jobber, Michaels totally oversold Hogan’s offense in this match. It’s frickin’ hilarious. Not only did he make Hogan look silly, he also buried him on the mic on the following Raw. Hogan deserved it for being a prick.

What are some of your “worst moments in wrestling”? Please list them in the comments and let everyone know the reasoning behind your picks. I can’t wait to read your comments for this story!!!

  1. Tony "The Lame Ass" Schivone leaking that Mankind would win the WWE (at that point WWF) title –

This was the climax of the monday night wars, and probably one of the douchiest things I have ever been witness too. I completely forget the match that was playing, but Tony and his color commentator were speaking of the upcoming WCW title defense. In a move to show that Nitro was LIVE (ie, better) Senor Lame Ass deicded to spoil WWFs Title match because it had been pre-taped, and not only does he throw the winner out into the open, he then proceeds to MOCK Mick Foley as a champion.

FU Tony! Three things happened after that:

    1. My jaw hit the floor and I looked at my brother who was watching with me. "Did that jack-ass really just say that?"

    2. My hand immediately flipped the channel to RAW. As a wrestling fan, my last button on Monday night invariably flipped between Nitro and RAW, especially during the last 10 mins or so.

    3. WCW started going down hill: Goldberg lost (I loved his perfect run, probably one of the best continuing storylines imo, mainly because I love seeing the spear, even if the move wasn't perfected until Edge, who throws undisputedly the best spear Live I have ever witnessed), Sting picked a side in the NWO war, Nash takes the dreaded Finger Poke of Doom.

  2. My friends and I have this discussion once in awhile and the one we always talk about is the one from WCW, where Flair is flying in his "private" jet and for some reason his jet had engine problems so they had to land in the middle of nowhere, like in some cornfields and someone is there and beats up Flair. Come on! Someone just knew where Flair was going to be so they could beat him up… The other that was ridiculous but kinda grew on me was when Eddie Guerrero first came to WWE and they made him fit the Latino stereotype by having him get his G.E.D and taking Chyna to the prom before Summerslam, it was funny but it was ridiculous to believe that Eddie needed a G.E.D.

  3. Damn…Robocop was my top one.

Second is the NWO. They had every damn wrestler in the NWO. I think Goldberg was the only big name who wasn't in it really.

Bonus Third: When Hulk and Macho Man were tag team partners….they lost a fight because I forget who hit Miss Elizabeth (rip o/d) and Hogan jumped in the ambulance with her to leave Macho Man to get his ass kicked. Perhaps the worst dialogue of all time.

  4. theres a clip from wcw in the late 90s with terry funk, where he brings a chicken to the ring and threatens his opponent with it.

ill never forget the announcer commentary

" OH MY GOD, HES GOT THE CHICKEN!"

that video apparently doesnt exist online, but youll have to believe me, it happened, and it was hilarious

  5. The announcers going along with what was going on with the Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan fight is just lame.

I went to school with Jake the Snake Roberts nephew, Jake the Snake came to our school like 5 times and I think he lives near me, or has a house near by.

  6. Did anyone play Mod Nation Racers yet? I got the Beta this weekend and it is a blast. I wish more stuff was unlocked but it has plenty to do right now.

  7. @N8R – forgot I can see the Avatars on my iPhone… well played sir. Well played.

@Played this weekend – Wife decided she didn't want to wait for her christmas, since her parents won't be up till the day after anyway, so I got one of mine early. Started playing The Saboteur.

I think this may be the first game that I finsh the story only to unlock all the stuff for use in the freeplay. Paris is amazing, and the hunt for Nazi stuff to 'splode is a complete time eater. I think I have spent about 6 hours with it so far… and roughly 4 of those have been simply running around Paris and the country side blowin up nAzi's.

Also played the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned dlc for Borderlands, and I have to say that Gearbox did a fine job with it. Outside of missing the Braaaaaaaaaaaaains! Quest during our first run through, and therefore having to kill more zombies then anyone two people ever should, it was an excellent addition to the game, and well worth the $9.99 price tag. Well done Gearbox.

  8. @Thundercracker

LOL, that is good. Real good.

one of my favorite JR moments: "The Undertaker is stealing the damn hearse, THE UNDERTAKER IS STEALING THE DAMN HEARSE!"

  9. I am hearing bad stuff about Borderlands for those who play it on PC but didn't buy it from Steam. They aren't allowed to download and buy the DLC.

  10. @Brutal Legend DLC – downloaded it over the weekend as well… the GPS, while effective, is not realy what I was looking for. As such, if you are not a die-hard fan for getting all 16000 of the Bound Serpents, and you are not interested in the multi-player maps, chances are this DLC wont do much for you.

  11. I've got to say I don't know any moments in professional wrestling. that kind of stuff was never my thing really. I finally picked up Assassin's Creed 2 this weekend though and so far I'm pretty happy about it. after nearly 2 months Dragon Age finally came out of my 360. I'm only missing 3 achievements on DA. I'll just have to come back to those later I guess. I still haven't hooked up with Leliana and obviously haven't completed all of the romances. Also, I find it impossible to get the traveler achievement. It's especially frustrating when some people have gotten it without trying. Oh well, AC2 should keep me distracted until I can go through another story.

  12. Most horrendous moment in Pro Wrestling: Finding out that police were investigating the Benoit family murder as a murder/suicide in the middle of watching a 2 hr tribute show to a man who would turn out to have killed his wife, child and self. I can't explain to you how numb I felt sitting there.

  13. Anyway: I'm now a proud PS3 owner. ARE YOU HAPPY RRoD??? ARE YOU????? j/k.

So I hook up my PS3, and my internet goes out. It was down all weekend, and is still intermittent. Oh the wonderful irony. Santa's always watching, and apparently he doesn't like that I opened my present early. So we're gonna wrap the empty box and put it under the tree.

Side note: Apparently, you can't play Dragon Age if your internet is down if you bought it at GameStop. See, apparently the "free" preorder item doesn't download to you HD and you need an internet connection for it to register, or else you can't load your save data. To say this pissed me off really undersells how angry I was at discovering this.

  14. @Shockwave: AC2 is amazing. And it's actually pretty east to get the full 1000/1000 on as well. The only thing that's a bit of a chore is finding all 100 feathers, but that's a lot better than the 400+ flags in the first game. Although, if you look at my GT, you'll see I was insane enough to chase all of those down too….. interactive maps on the internet are your friend.

  15. @Nightshade – Welcome to the PS3 party.

@Feathers – finished those Saturday morning. Wasn't bad. Used gamesradar as they had extensive maps and screenshots of where the feather was located. Took about 2 hours for the last 20 running through Venice, and getting the cape and wearing it in all the cities. Apparently, the Mountains are counted as a city, so you have to go there with the Auditore cape on to get credit for that one.

  16. So if you get the special preorder item…it requires a network connection? Garbage. Good way to get me NOT to do a pre order.

I can't stand all this kind of crap that is going to ruin this industry. Makes me want to pirate games.

  17. @nigthshade – Ya I find that it really helps to use eagle vision to see the feathers from a sync point. the game is breathtaking and I was able to get all my assassin equipment before the weekend ended. I'm looking forward to a short work week, haha

  18. @nightshade – grats on the PS3, I hope uncharted 2 was the first game you got.

Also, I'd add you to my friends list right now but unfortunately you can't add friends from the internet that I've found *small jab at PSN*

  19. @smartguy – well pirating games still leaves you without DLC. so I guess the choice is to buy DLC or not to buy DLC. I agree it's crap I can't play one of my save games on Dragon Age if I'm not connected to the internet. But it doesn't do me any good to pirate either.

  20. @Shockwave: Nope, I got the first Uncharted. However, I'm assuming that more giftcards and cash are coming for the holidays, which means Uncharted 2 will probably be the 2nd game I buy.

Oh, and I liked the first Uncharted (yes, I finished it already), but if I never have to do those stupid jet ski missions again, it'll be too soon. As if not being able to move and shoot at the same time wasn't annoying enough, the thing controlled like a drunken horse.

  21. @nightshade – haha, Ya the jet ski was pretty bad. I was also particularly disappointed with the last 2 hours of the game/story. At any rate all of those complaints have disappeared from Uncharted 2 and many things were improved that I didn't know needed to be.

  22. @Nightshade

Congrats on getting your PS3. I'll be sending you a friend request. What game(s) did you get with it?

  23. The worst moment in wresting history was WCW giving the World Championship title belt to David Arquette.

  24. @RRoD: Just the first Uncharted. I figured that would hold me over until after X-Mas since I was still playing Dragon Age as well. I'll probably buy Uncharted 2 right after the holiday. However, I added Demon's Souls, Heavenly Sword and inFamous to my Gamefly Q.

  25. @Nightshade

Good call. Playing Uncharted 1 first will get you attached to the characters and make you appreciate Uncharted 2 much more than you would have had you not played Uncharted 1 first. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Uncharted 2. It's a game that every gamer should experience. It's so far ahead of any other game on the market.

  26. @Nightshade

Demon's Souls is worth a buy dude. Very good game. I intend on playing it a lot this week…or at least until Christmas.

    @shockwave

Yeah, I know there is a conundrum there. However I don't care for the mentality of "You bought this content…but you can only play it with our supervision". I don't have to have an internet connection to use an Ipod or a DVD player. I think the game industry is heading down a slippery slope with this kind of stuff.

A friend of mine bought Borderlands for PC. He bought it on disc. Well he can't buy the DLC for it because he didn't buy the game from Steam. Isn't that ridiculous?

Personally I don't like to or won't buy games with very invasive DRM. There is no need to bird dog me, the legitimate paying customer, over something that isn't yours. The f'n copyright police need to read the constitution about unlawful search and seizure.

  27. @Smartguy – I tend to agree with you. corporations get away with some loaded BS unfortunately. In a perfect world I would refuse to buy said DLC, or refuse to buy a game with restrictions on it. Unfortunately I'm not a mover and a shaker. I feel the same way about politics truth be told. I still want the good games and I want the DLC so in that way these companies have me.

Now from the company's point of view they could say something like "Every gamer has the opportunity to play our game as if it were a PS2 or Xbox game. Simply do not buy the optional DLC and we will not be invasive with DRM" (that only counts for console games, I don't really PC game much anymore)

Unfortunately, as gamers receive new technology the market is determined by what the players are willing to buy. I think if Rock Band is any indication there is no limit to what gamers will spend on a single game any more. yikes.

  28. I can tell you the exact moment that I stopped watching wrestling, which to me, is the worst wrestling storyline that I'VE seen. It was the story between the Undetaker and the Big Boss Man when they had some bad blood going on. I don't remember everything, but I do remember that godawful show where BBM's father dies (The Undertaker is suspected, of course) and during the funeral, Undertaker "steals" the coffin with BBM's dead father inside with his bike. I see BBM being dragged because he is holding onto a coffin that is being pulled by Undertaker's bike.

Wrestling for me has never been the same since. Epic fail.

    -M

P.S.- Thanks for the credit, Mr. Padilla. I enjoy reading and seeing some of those truly bad and hilariously bad moments that I've missed over the years.

  29. @shockwave

I hear ya man. This will change with the advent of more digital distribution. Here's the big part of it for me though…I think digi dist will last one generation. They will get so many complaints about HDD crashes and fighting with customers over the customer wanting their material restored or downloaded onto the new drive. The solution of course will be for all gamers to play on a cloud service where the you no longer have a choice…except to pay for leased titles via monthly sub or give up gaming in general.

I like discs, I really do. They help maintain fair prices amongst all resellers and I can use them on any machine…unless said title is somehow locked to a damn serial number for some reason.

  30. @Iceman

I remember that. The Undertaker ended up hanging The Big Boss Man from a rope at Wrestlemania.

  31. Oh, and on a completely unrelated note:

Avatar was good. I mean, the story was predictable about a half-hour into the movie and the movie itself can be described as a mutated cross between “Pocahontas” meets “Starship Troopers” with a couple of mechanics from “The Matrix” and “Final Fantasy 7” peppered in for good measure, but the film itself was beautiful. The computer effects are really good. In my humble opinion, the predictability of the story was outweighed by the journey the movie took you on to get to the climax/end. If you are going to see it, do not bother watching it in 3D. It's a waste of money that does nothing to enhance the film. Plus, it gives you a headache when you walk out of the theater. Watch it in 2D instead unless money is no object for you, in which case I would recommend IMAX.

I apologize for the off-topic tangent, Mr. Padilla.

    -M

  32. @ Larcenous

    Bwahahahaha!

    @ topic

Oh so many. The ending of Bret Hat's stint in WWF was pretty bad.

Ric Flair bringing his kid in to the business was a joke.

Buff Bagwell getting fired because he had his mom call in sick for him (like for real, not an angle).

The night Owen Hart died, the show went on with a massive blood stain in the corner of the ring. That had to be hard for all those guys who wrestled after that.

    @ Football

    STEELERS FINALLY WON!

  33. @Smartguy

I agree with everything you just said in comment #38.

Man, I thought the Saints were going to tie that game Saturday night on that last drive. Since my Falcons are no eliminated from making the Playoffs I'm pulling for the Saints, keeping it in the NFC South.

  34. @RROD;

Yeah, I think that was part of that storyline (if I'm not mistaken), but it was just too much OVER-drama for the build up of Undertaker fake-hanging the Big Boss Man.

    -M

  35. @Shockwave

If and when digi distribution becomes the standard I don't think you will like it as much as you think you will.

  36. I got my ps3 back finally. Apparently they didn't wanna fix my old one, or it was beyond repair which is preposterous. So they sent me a new one lol. Wanted to call them and ask why didn't they send me a new slim but w/e lol. ^^ So when ever I get internet back again add me if ya want.

CamiKitten is my ps3 handle ^^

  37. @RROD

Yeah, a disappointment for sure. I keep looking at all of the media outlets now and it seems that we are already closing shop for the season. One loss and we are toast. Peter King says now it will be Dallas and Philly in the Championship. I guess the Vikes and Saints are no longer relevant. I can't stand the talking heads. Good thing this isn't the BCS.

  38. @nightshade

a guy i know bought it from Gamefly for $35 abouts. Regardless, enjoy the game. Also, now you get to experience the 2 hour downloads for demos and 30 minute firmware updates. PSN is too slow for that stuff.

  39. @smartguy – let me put it this way, I never feel the need to buy another CD or DVD the rest of my life thanks to digital.

Sure it's harder to share the media and I can't buy physical CDs for 4 dollars online. Sure I can't buy used movies from Amazon but I'm just ok with that. I'm the type of person who likes to be on the cutting edge of technology. even if it is an inconvenience for me at times. Yes, my iPhone, PS3, Xbox 360, and things aren't always perfect but I sure do love them because they are the best of the best imo.

  40. @smartguy – in fact, even all of my DVD collection is in storage in the attic now. It's amazing how many boxes of movies fit on one HDD

  41. @RROD – you say that but Apple & iTunes have been under some scrutiny for a lot of years over DRM just like the DLC. in fact, I think they've been under more scrutiny because music and movies are a much more popular medium. It's nice to know that iTunes music is now DRM free though, even though it costs a little more than it did.

  42. I have no issue with Digi Distribution so long as they provide the physical media for those that prefer it. I personally prefer to own the physical media. So while my wife loves her iTunes, I'd rather go buy the CD. And since both options are available, we can both get our way. If they take the same approach with games, than I say "fine."

  43. @N8R

A friend of mine boot legs games all the time. All he needs is for the French government to leek the game and a dual layer DVD burner. He played ODST two months before the game came out. Boot legging is easy no matter what people try to do to stop it. The best way to deter it is to make games people want to buy.

  44. @ Sandrock

I'm well aware of the fact that it's being done. I used the word "deterrent" on purpose. I have a friend on my list who had his console banned for exactly that.

My point is, it's just going to be easier come digi distro when all the console needs to read is a file.

Look on any torrent site and it's loaded with 360 games. DS is the new flavor of the month.

  45. @shockwave

You like the digi model that is currently in use because there is physical media that gives you options and also helps control the price on the digi media. It's a long carousel with arguments valid on all sides but in the end, less options (see no more physical media) is bad for the customer.

  46. @smartguy – I think you'll see more corporations heading up the war against physical media than any one. I for one am not offended that Best Buy is larger than it should be because of the music and movies sections. I think as long as both are around people will be happy for the most part. Game systems are a different breed though. I wouldn't be so shocked if Sony and MS try to use digital distribution to their advantage and ditch the media next gen. what that means for the consumer is yet to be determined though.

  47. @shockwave

ditching it when broadband penetration is so poor in a major market? death sentence. I see where you are coming from with the movies and music argument though…I have to say that it doesn't apply to games though. There is a tremendous difference between a 4 minute song, 2 hour movie, and a $60 dollar game that is a few hours long.

I sometimes think that discs or whatever is used in the future will stick around though. Similar to how books are still around.

  48. @ What I don't like about music at Best Buy

    1) Most of it sucks.

    2) They pay artists and labels for exclusives which helps shut down other retailers in the area. Now I'm left with Best Buy being the best place to find a CD in my area.

    3) They only deal with music that's currently in print. If I'm looking for that record (or even an artist) that I've been looking for forever, it's pointless to even try Best Buy.

    4) They don't have anything that i can't get elsewhere for cheaper.

Important note: First and foremost (as some of you may have noticed already), I'm a music nerd. I'm the kind of guy that ever since I was a kid, I would spend hours each visit to the record store. The guys at all my local record stores (until they started going away) knew me by name and would hand me lists of stuff when I walked in so I would save time. That could and would never happen at Best Buy.

But… I can buy stuff for my Mac there,

  49. @ Smartguy

I don't think gamers will ever stop gaming (no matter what) and the corps will use that to their advantage.

Even if there's a serious drop in quality of games across the board, i think we'll all just replay old games for the rest of our days.

  50. @N8R

Most definitely. I replay old games still. In fact one of my presents this Christmas is a copy of "The New Tetris" for N4. I loved that game so much. Can't wait to get it.

  51. @N8R

No clue what you are thinking of. The one I am talking about is where you make so many lines, the game keeps a running total and you build wonders of the world.

What really made me love this game was cube building. I like the sound it makes plus it lets me embellish my greed. Classic.

  52. So I have had time to think and recollect on the wrestling topic most of the day here. Here is what I have come up with after laughing about RoboCop and Dudikoff all day:

    1. Val Venis getting his stuff chopped off. I forget who did it though.

    2. The fight where the big boss man and Al Snow were surrounded by rabid dogs because Boss Man ate Al Snow's dog.

    3. Brother Love interviews

    4. The Bushwhackers in general

    5. Hawk the recovering drug addict and sociopath who falls off the Titantron

    FINALLY!

Bonus: Mae Young having Mark Henry's hand. (google if need be)

  53. @Smartguy – anything old Mae Young is heartbreaking. God the bat-shit crazy stuff they had that old lady do on national TV was almost too much to watch.

  54. @Smartguy – I remember the Boss Man/Al Snow fight too. They were in a Hell in a Cell, that was surrounded by another cage that housed the dogs. The dogs looked completely drugged up, and was probably one of the worst matches in PPV history. It was awful.

  55. @Nightshade;

I knew it! I knew there had to be a logical explanation of how that always happens to me. Oh, what must I do to appease the gods of Tetris?

    -M

  56. @Mr. Padilla;

C'mon, man. Even you have to admit that the whole thing with Mae and Henry having the baby (which just ends up being gas) was just a bit too much over the deep end, no?

Yes, she's earned the right to do whatever she wants, but I still think there should be SOME kind of limits on the wrestling insanity. Many new viewers that would potentially be huge wrestling fans one day may very well be put off by some of those antics since they don't know her storied history with the organization… you know… someone like me.

    -M

  57. @Smartguy: I’m looking forward to playing it. But I’m not likely to buy much new other than probably Uncharted 2 for a while. Or at least until Mass Effect 2 comes out. That’s the must have game of 2010 for me, and it’s hitting in January. Awesome!!!

  58. @RROD – there have been some hiccups with buying music via Digital. however, my (digital) CD collection has never been so good. In Fact, I don’t even own any physical CDs anymore (that weren’t burned from iTunes). I know DRM has been an issue constantly but it hasn’t stopped me from buying digital. I haven’t gone to a store to buy a CD since 2003.

Also, I haven’t gone to blockbuster to rent a film in 2 or 3 years. I mostly stick with On Demand, PS3, Apple TV, and 360. Between those I can always find the film I’m looking for. The only movies I have bought in the last 3 years have been Bluray. Once the technology (streaming/HDD space) is such that I can download 1080p movies then I won’t even need to do that any more. I believe Xbox 360 now offers 1080p rentals.

If I can expect the same from video game digital distribution. I’ll be happy. All the complaints aside my digital distribution experience over the last 7 years has been a lot more good than bad. But I respect that some people do not like it.

  59. @ digi distro & copies

You aren’t supposed to be able to make of alot of movies as it is. Dark Knight wouldn’t let me rip it just to name one example.

    BUT….

It’s just coding that can be altered and changed accordingly. Therefore, people will change that. That’s why MS does the product specific HDD’s… it’s a deterrent. Yet, people still boot them. PS3 has the BD going for it but time is ticking away until people have BD burners the same way they have CD burners. Remember when nobody could burn DVD’s? That changed fast, didn’t it? The time is coming.

My point, once it goes digi, it will be even easier to boot games than it is now.

  60. @ totally different topic

I got an awesome iPhone game this weekend. It’s called…

    wait for it…

    VOLTRON!

You start off doing missions as the lions, and then you tackle some robeasts. Totally bad ass.

  61. @nigthshade – you bring up a good point, both movies and music are still available through store outlets and are very popular still. (Although 48% of teens bought not a single CD in 2007 according to a study)

I think we’re pretty far off of a world where digital is the only option (maybe 10-15 years at the most) but I like having digital as an option now. I’d like to see more digital games available in coming years even though many people will prefer to buy hard copies.

  62. My worst Wrestling moment was I had a copy of Mario Kart for $6 dollars at my Blockbuster, which was being saved for myself, when Scott Steiner's wife totally bought my S**t right in front of me. Then of course there was a climatic battle in a TLC match, which I lost when Mankind, Dude love, Cactus Jack, and Mick Foley all came out at the same time, which caused my head to explode.

Seriously though she bought my game. It was a sad day.

  63. @ctlaltdel I like Sheamus. He has a unique look, he can work, and he's getting better by the week. Plus, better to give a new guy the strap rather than keeping it on Cena.

  64. What's up ctlaltdel! Welcome to our humble (for lack of a better word) community.

I hope you've seen American Ninja.

  65. @ raymond

I just wish they would have put the title on someone else like Kofi or Evan Bourne. BTW ray i think we can add some more moments after last nights Raw. I thought the little peoples court segment was really embarrassing to watch IMO. I don't know I just can't watch Raw like I use to. I like where TNA has been going over the last few months and feel they put on better matches. ROH on HDNet is getting really good lately too.

    @ N8R

Thanks I missed you guys! And I have not seen American Ninja yet.

  66. @ctlaltdel Bourne is too small. For whatever reason, Vince doesn't like small guys. Kofi would have been cool, but I can't remember the last time Vince went with a black guy for a major singles championship. Hmmmm, Vince is also pushing the Irish guy and the Scottish guy.

  67. @ ray

I think bourne could pull it off like mysterio did. Btw are you excited the Monday night wars are going to be back here in two weeks?

  68. @TheJediRevan;
