Ah, the weekend is here! I’m thankful that I made it through the week. There were some bumpy spots for sure, but in terms of RPad.tv…all I can say is, “Wow!” You guys have been amazing! As you probably guessed from the title of this post, I want to see what games you have slotted for weekend playtime.
I’m way, way behind on stuff I have to play to keep current. While a lot of you will be enjoying Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2, I’m going to be giving Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days a whirl. A bunch of my friends told me that 358/2 Days is to Kingdom Hearts as Crisis Core is to FFVII. Considering how much I loved Crisis Core, I had to give this game a shot. I hope it lives up to my expectations!
Like I said, I want to know what’s on your weekend playlist (*snicker* get it?!?). What games are on your plate?
Uncharted 2. at this rate I should be able to beat it this weekend. I can't get enough of this game. If I can finish it this weekend I'll probably start a new game and bump the difficulty up. I've got treasures to find and trophies to unlock
hmmm, i think i'm going to finish me some arkham asylum challenges unless i can get my hands on uncharted 2 which isn't looking like it'll happen this weekend =/ oh well, now is just as good a time to start a back log..
Fallout 3 to get the last achievement and Saints Row cuz I was only a few missions from completing the game when my save data got corrupted.
is that saints row 2 hrolf? my original saints row freezes every time I try to play it. never did that until an update was applied one day. I'll be driving and then all of the sudden the car disappears and I'm stuck there sitting on air
Brutal Legend. I've gotta finish it up and get my review up this weekend.
I may finish off the side quests in Point Lookout or finish off Crackdown and Quantum of Solace for the gamer points.
Nope, the first one. I stopped playing part 2 till I could properly beat the first. I have the same issue sometimes, and usually if i wait it out for a min or two the game comes back to life. Im not sure WHY the car your in turns invisible and your sitting in midair, but its kinda funny when your defending your turf and have 3 gangsters with ya all sitting in midair, firing out of the invisi-car and no one can touch ya.
I want to say Last Remnant (Steam), but my video card was just sent in for RMA. T_T So that means more CoD4 :( I'm so sick of noobs it isn't even funny. Seriously, there's like a 1 in 25 chance that a noob tube whore will join your game, a 8 out of 10 chance that a Stopping Power SMG will join, and a 3 out of 10 chance that a ACOG Sniper will join.
Any of you guys use Switch Games with success?
wow sandrock you're the real deal. sorry that not everyone who plays COD4 is that in to it. some people are just in to have fun. This is exactly why I don't play online games anymore

I'm in it for fun too, but it seems like most people are in it to break the game in their favor.
I'll be lacing up my boxing gloves with fn round 4. Just to get ready for the Taylor v Abraham fight. Probably some cod4 or cod w@w. Mw2 is only weeks away!

Modded controllers don't work any more. I've run into many people on Hardcore that have a 6 man live party, but have one join mid game so he can play on the other team and tell his friends where everyone is. Nothing worse than getting shot by a LMG across the map and through a building when you have UAV Jammer and just spawned. Then there are the people that put Steady aim on a sniper rifle and half scoop their shoots because it causes the game auto aim for them. Stooping Power on SMGs causes you to kill in one shot because their natural lag covers up the rest of their shots. I could go on and on to be honest. I've got over a month of in-game time behind me.
@sandrock wow that's stupid. I understand your frustration. you should be able to kick people on your team for that. it's just as bad as shooting you themselves

Tonight after Oktoberfest ( the brewery I'm invested in is throwing it WOOT) i'm gonna play some BF1943 with a friend or watch one of my buds try their hand at Demon's Souls. Seriously, watching that game is almost as fun as playing it lol.
Tomorrow, Brutal Legend and probably shooting more children on BF1943.
Sunday: BBQ, SAINTS vs giants, playing fantasy football….then studying for advanced tax accounting.
@Pastor I hadnt tried switchgames im a little leary of trading directly with another individual who may or may not ship my game.Switchgames will guarantee your game though for like 5.95.I have been looking into trying goozex its a point based deal and you get your game from their warehouse.
On topic second playthrough of Uncharted 2 MAG "tonight" Socom maybe warhawk.
I have a friend who has never seen Left4Dead so I am taking it over to his house for some offline Co-op. Then the rest of my weekend will be devoted to Uncharted 2. Well the rest of my weekend not counting the Texas vs. OU game tomorrow morning. Nothing like a your local bar opening early for a football game and a round of beers at 10am.
uncharted 2 today, im on my third round on crushing difficulty. tomorrow, DOTA!!!!! YOU GUYS SHOULD PLAY WITH ME!!!! and on sunday, its family day, so its gonna be church, watch a couple of football games, and head to newport beach and catch a few waves.
I plan on having a halo weekend extravaganza, maybe a little halo wars, halo 3 multiplayer, and lastly finish odst.
@Tokz_21 Who do you like in the Abraham/Taylor fight? How about the Super 6 in general? Right now, I'm thinking it's Kessler's tournament to lose.

i just got World of Goo because of their sale this week. I'm going to be playing that all weekend haha i never thought how fun this game would be

I agree. I realy want Taylor to win he's had soooo much potential but never lived up to it like rocky juarez for example. I really can't see Jermaine beating abraham but I would love to see him shock the world.
Uncharted 2 campaign, Uncharted 2 multi-player, and Uncharted 2 co-op. I can't get enough of this game.
@Tokz_21 The problem with Taylor is that he's a fantastic athlete, but only a very good boxer. He's different from Juarez, who is more of a natural boxer. When you watch Taylor, he rarely seems relaxed in the ring. He burns up so much energy being tense and overthinking. His game doesn't flow very well. Super nice guy thought!

I KNOW it's my G.O.T.Y. period. Not so far, but PERIOD. I ended it last night and I have to say that Uncharted 2 is the best game I've ever played. The story was amazing and had me hooked. The attention to detail is astounding. The graphics are hypnotizing, even better than Killzone 2. The voice acting is unmatched by any other game. The flow of the game is perfect. The story is actually better than most movies. Uncharted 2 is the measuring stick for all games now as far as I'm concerned. Other devs should study this game and take note. I hope and pray that at least one other dev can create a game close to the bar that Naughty Dog set with Uncharted 2. Everyone must play this game. The bar has been raised on all levels with this game.

Hopefully I'll have my copy of Uncharted 2, but If not, just got Prince Of Persia last week. That's a really fun and addicting game imo. And, maybe some Gears 2.
