Sony Pictures has sent out an image of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man in the upcoming series reboot. It’s a pretty cool pic…but I keep seeing Eduardo Saverin in The Social Network. Perhaps Spidey will fight the Winkelvoss twins in the movie. That would be cool.
I’m psyched that an image of Garfield as Spider-Man has been released. Until now, fanboys were spending too much time discussing Emma Stone’s (Gwen Stacy) hair. This should help them move on.

hmm, maybe Vulture. the slash mark reminds me of the Velociraptor marks from Jurassic Park, maybe that's why i associated it with the Lizard but the Vulture is also a possibility too.

I really want to watch another movie where the first hour and a half is him being normal and then whimsically learning his new talents.
On the comics side, Ultimate Spider-Man did a brilliant job at rebooting Spidey’s adventures. I don’t know if the movie reboot will work, but I like that it’ll have Gwen instead of MJ.
I agree. One of the fascinating things that the Ultimate Spiderman series did was create a love triangle between Peter, MJ and Gwen. Probably one of the best "hooks" ever was the Carnage/Gwen/Peter relationship.

The costume texture reminds me of Mystique from the X-Men movies. Did they already say if the Lizard was going to be the villain in this movie. If not i think they might’ve given it away cuz i don’t see any other Spider-Man baddie leaving a slash mark like that.
Vulture? Jackal? Maybe Kraven? Man-Wolf! Puma (that would be wonderfully lame). Scorpion? Hmmm, I can’t think of anyone else.
