Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time Videos

Sony has posted a pair of excellent videos for the (what should be) excellent Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. I know a lot of PS3 gamers are going gaga for Uncharted 2 (and rightfully so), but I’ve always preferred Insomniac’s games and am super looking forward to this one. Anyway, check out the vids and let me know what you think (please)!

  1. I always love the writing in these games. They always make me laugh. As long as the writing stays the same, I'll definitely pick this up. I just hope with the customizable weapons that they didn't become lazy with their weapon designing. And If they could add another Giant Clank battle that would be pretty awesome too.

  2. In the first video above, was that the '1812 Overture' I heard when Ratchet was firing the RYNO? If so, pleasepleaseplease tell me that it plays every time you equip it/fire it. That would be hilarious. Also, I haven't scrolled down too far on the main page Raymond, but did you post the video of this game from the Playstation Blog that was put up today? The 'replay value' video? That one sold me on getting it on day one, or at least really really trying to get it on day one. After I pick up 'Uncharted2' tomorrow (finally), I'm gonna have to perform a miracle to figure out how to come up w/ the money to pick up 'Crack in Time' at launch.

  3. @ Redd

    That would be hilarious.

Did you know that Tchaikovsky actually used real cannons to perform that piece? That effectively made him the first industrial artist ever.

He also composed "The Nutcracker Suite" for the glass harmonica that was invented by Ben Franklin.

  4. i'm really excited for this game… this is one of my favorite series for its funny dialogue and its guns that never fail to amaze me

  5. @N8R- If I ever have to play a team Trivia game, I want you on my team!

If you fine people haven't picked up Uncharted 2 or the new FOTC album, I suggest you do- they both rock!
