Sony is having a nifty October promotion. If you spend $100 on PlayStation Network then you’ll get a $20 voucher for future PSN purchases. It doesn’t matter if you’re buying games, movies, TV shows, etc. As long as you hit $100 then you’ll get the $20 voucher. Additional details can be found here.
The deal is pretty sweet, especially if you’re a PlayStation Plus member that digs digital downloads. Remember, those cats get an extra 10 percent off select “Day 1 Digital” games.

Similar to purchasing directly from Google, customers that buy the Nexus 7 from GameStop get $25 in Google Play credit. Depending on the goods you have to trade in, this could be the best way to buy a Nexus 7. The 30-percent kicker gives this deal some sweet potential.

The outstanding Dropbox cloud-storage service is giving users up to 5GB of free space for some beta testing. The latest build of Dropbox features automatic photo and video uploading. The more photos and videos you upload, the more free space you get. Here are the specifics from the Dropbox Forums:
For every 500MB of photos and videos automatically uploaded, you’ll receive another 500MB space bonus, up to 4.5GB total. [Update: To clarify, you can get up to 5GB of free space with this feature, if you count the initial 500MB space for the first photo import].
I know a lot of you are big Dropbox fans and I encourage you to take advantage of this offer. That said, you should back up your Dropbox folder before you get started. This is beta software we’re talking about, after all.

Supergiant Games’ Bastion is on sale this week for 600 Microsoft Points ($7.50) on Xbox Live. This excellent game is fun action-RPG with a unique narrator, a sweet soundtrack, and great gameplay. It was one of my favorite games of 2011 and I hope you guys give it a shot. If you happen to pick it up, please let me know what you think of Bastion in the comments section.
