In honor of the release of Heavy Rain for PlayStation 3, I wanted to see what your favorite type of rain is (in the context of gaming and nerd culture). In addition to Quantic Dream’s excellent game, you can choose from “Chocolate Rain” by Tay Zonday, Epic Games vice president Mark Rein, and Prince’s outstanding “Purple Rain” (the song, not the movie). Make your choice and leave your explanation in the comments section if you have a moment!

I prefer Chubby Rain. (Anyone else know the movie I'm talking about? It's a movie inside a movie.)
I'm disappointed that there is no mention about making it "rain"!
@Rpad
I would like to nominate making it "rain".
@sandrock
yes! Bowfinger is an under-rated movie.
@tokz_21 No way. I've hated that phrase ever since Floyd Mayweather incorporated it into his limited vocabulary.
I had to go with Prince.
What about "Hard Rain" or "Reign In Blood"?
@ RROD
That's what I picked.
@RROD
it's an option for the poll but not mentioned in the header of the topic.
@rpad
I don't like to associate making it "rain" with Mayweather. I like to think of it when Adam "Pacman" jones and Jermaine Dupri were making it rain in that one video.
I can't believe this link is still up and they had hannah storm report this story (introduce it)

Vampire Rain?
Blood Rayne?
Anyone…?
…
… Is this thing on? Why is everyone leaving?

@Iceman: 50 lashes for mentioning Vampire Rain, even in jest.
Heavy Rain by far.
What about purple rain?
I think the phrase “Making it rain” sounds like a polite thing to say at the bar instead of saying “I was in the bathroom”.
Female: “Where did you disappear off to?”
Me: “I was making it rain.”
What about local weather reporter Ollie Williams in Family Guy "It's gonna rain!" or "It's raining sideways!"?
