Monday Housekeeping

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates. My last day in the Philippines was exhausting. That and the 16+ hours of flying that followed it caught up to me, resulting in one of the worst colds I’ve had in years. At least, I think it was due to my last day in the Philippines. There’s a possibility that I was so bummed by the screening of GI Joe: Retaliation, that my body shut down. Travel and exhaustion are the more likely culprits.

I’ll have a few articles for you today before spending the latter half of this Monday working on a secret project. Before I get to that, I have to perform one of my annual errands. It’s the day after Easter. Do you know what the means? Groceries and drug stores will have Cadbury Creme Eggs marked down! Let’s do this.

  1. Yeah, I second the motion that you are physically sick because you saw G.I. Joe; Retaliation.

Well, I guess the important thing is that my wife liked it, so it wasn’t a TOTAL waste.

Although, now that I think about it, I just realized that my wife liked that movie. Maybe I should be concerned about her.

  2. Yeah I’m sick as well…of working. Twelve hour days are piling up but at least I get to go to San Francisco in a couple of weeks and drink myself silly.

Welcome back and you should totally buy Reese’s eggs instead.

  3. Well this Easter I found out something terrible about my mom…she loves Necco wafers. I’m shocked and disgusted, but upon my repeated questioning she insisted that they were good. This is something I’m still trying to process.

However, this year I skipped traditional Easter candy and went to Albanese (huge candy and gummy distributor in the Midwest whose factory is about 7 miles from our apartment) to get some chocolate covered gummy bears.

    1. Process it all you want. You’ll never understand…though I’m pretty sure a Necco Wafer executive sold his soul to Beelzebub to get your mom to like his products.
