Comic Con Giveaway #1: Ghost Recon Future Soldier Beta Keys

To make up for my time away from the site, I’m giving away a bunch of stuff I acquired during the show. The first Comic Con 2011 giveaway is for Ghost Recon Future Soldier VIP beta keys. My sexy friend from Red Storm gave me a bunch of them and now you can have one! All you have to do is leave a comment saying why you want one. Comments will (probably) not be judged. Whether you’re a Ghost Recon superfan or you simply want your pet monkey to have a cool dog tag, I will send you a beta key (while supplies last).

Please note that this giveaway is only open to people with a United States mailing address.

  1. Is this the same as the code as the ones released over a year ago with Splinter Cell Conviction? If not I want in!

  2. I'm an ubisoft superfan. They can do (almost) no wrong! Instead of dreaming about sex, I dream about the next Rainbow Six game (ok, that's not true, I dream about really boring shit most of the time. I WISH I could dream about the next Rainbow Six game. That'd be awesome). Assassin's Creed is my crystal meth. Splinter Cell is my pot. Ghost Recon Future Soldier is my cup of coffee I can't live without.

  3. Is the beta compatible with Kinect? I thought this was the fps that was supposed to be Kinect compatible, and although I'm not a fan of the Kinect I wouldn't mind getting to see how this game actually feels if the beta is compatible.

  4. i would like a beta invite because i am the ultimate decoy people kill me in FPS leaving the better players in my team to dominate.

  5. My pot-bellied pig Cletus would look so sweet sporting this walking down the street. Secondly, I would love to play the game before it comes out.

  6. I thought they were rather useless at points as well. I don't have any clue why Ubisoft is going all pro Kinect with their games, maybe M$ thought Kinect would do well in their game$. I think it will be interesting to see how Ubisoft games sell since they are Kinect compatible.

Tokz and I had this conversation one day that we think whoever comes out with the first Kinect XBLA game will do awesome in profit simply because it fills a market that no one else is filling right now. All Kinect games are $60-$50 (unless this has changed and I missed one of them dropping in price). If someone came out with a Kinect XBLA game for $20 it is practically a must have impulse buy for people. No matter what it is cheaper than any other Kinect game available, and they don't have to leave their houses for it. That's exactly what the casual market needs/wants, whether they know it yet or not. Look at the quality of some of the Kinect games out there right now, even if it's on par with those games you are still only spending 1/3 of the price.

Who wouldn't spend a third of the price for an equally good game? Also, Kinect Adventures is highway robbery at $60. I would much rather pay $60 for Splinter Cell: Conviction, and everyone in the gaming world seemed to complain about that games value.

  9. I'd like one so I can see if they have improved the game any. GRAW was good, but the multiplayer was week.

    1. i bet everyone on this tread wishs everyone had a mom that would play summit strike!. nothing like jumping in a game and taking out all her friends and laying the sweet trash talk down in the lobby. yes you can say we taught each other the finer points of online gaming me with bullets to brains and mom for ability to talk some serious BS. thanks KY or should i say mom.
