Opening day is almost here and I wanted to get your thoughts on an RPad.tv fantasy baseball league. My initial thought was to start a rotisserie league using Yahoo!’s fantasy baseball service. Is that cool with you guys? How does a Friday afternoon draft sound? Please let me know if you’re interested in playing!
this friday afternoon? i'm going to have the day off but if it can be Friday evening, Central time i'll be able to live online draft that day.
I believe Yahoo! allows you to pre-rank players and auto-draft if you can't make a live draft.
I guess….i don't like pre-ranking players.

I'm already in a league with some other buddies of mine and it is just a pain in the arse with all those games every week. One is a lot for me, but if you need an extra guy, I'll sign up. Count me in as "on the bench".

The draft is scheduled for 1PM on Wednesday (PT). If you can't make it, you can pre-rank the players you want. Yahoo!'s rankings are usually pretty good and require minimum tweaking.
I got the email and tried registering, but every time I hit save and continue it makes me sign in again. I guess I will try again later.
Are you blocking cookies? What browser are you using?
Using Chrome, and not blocking any cookies that I know of.
Strange. I set up the league on Chrome. If you have a chance, try it on another browser.
The setup just worked on Firefox. Still learning my way around Yahoo's interface. Been a while since I used them for fantasy sports, and that was a long time ago.
Hey all. Please, please sign up if you can. There are only three teams in the league and the draft is tomorrow.
I'm all ready for the draft tomorrow, just trying to figure out who I should actually be picking since I practically never pay that close attention to baseball players, just teams here and there.
I might be able to make the draft but late into it, I'll be heading home when it starts.
You can adjust player ranks in the interim.

how big is this league? as far as i can see we only have 4 teams. i don't think this draft is going to happen today.
Yeah, it looks like we don't have enough teams to make it work. Also, I got called to a lunch meeting so I'm going to have to auto-draft for at least the first hour. Oh well. I'll probably end up killing the league.
Ah hell. Let's give it a go anyway. I'm looking for another shortstop. Already sent out one trade offer. Feel free to send some my way.
I lucked out on the draft sorry I didn't make it, I'm going to Colorado this weekend so I was busy doing chores and some light packing.

I was glad to see the Reds win though, especially on opening day with a three score home run I believe.
