January 2011 continues to be a surprisingly strong month for videogames. Leading the way is Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet 2. The PlayStation 3 gets a graphically boosted version of Mass Effect 2 that’s available on disc or digital download. Last, but not least, is Square Enix’s Mindjack.

i'm not really liking any of these games. i'm thinking advantage of Best Buy's buy 2 get 1 free deal. Maybe i can get DCUO and get Mafia 2 and some other game but idk yet.
Dude… DCUo is totally worth it. It's addicting as hell.
Takes about 3 hours to update and install and yesterday most of the worlds were down due to maintenance… but aside from that, it may just be the superhero game I always wanted.
Yeah, I got annoyed with the updating and maintenance issues yesterday. I'll give it another go today. A few of my industry friends were complaining about the online queue to play.
yeah i read a tweet saying that the servers were hit or miss and booting people off all day yesterday. it turned me off big time from CoD Black Ops, i don't want it to do the same with DCUO
I think all the maintenance yesterday was probably to keep it from booting people the way it does. I got booted quite a few times but it wasn't that big of a deal.
Once they smooth it all out, it will be awesome for sure.
I actually fell asleep during the install/update. I was sick as hell Friday night anyway though. I caught a stomach bug that did me in. I tossed and turned all night because it felt like all of my organs around my stomach were bruised. It was terrible.
Oh… and I've had no trouble with the queue to play. I hit my character and I'm in.

Launch is so important for an MMO. I will be in DCU in a few weeks after my PC is built. Maybe they'll introduce cross platform play and I can own you all.
If I remember correctly, it is cross platform. Most MMOs are. (PSU not being one of them)

bah! i wish there were gaming headphones compatible with PS3 and 360! i think there are headphones later on today on sale too. i hope those go both ways. (*insert pun here*)

Yeah, Gold Box rules are pretty tight. You have to jump on it while you can or you lose your spot.
i can see if it's a popular item and people are on waiting lists to get the item but only 20% of it were claimed. When all of it isn't claimed then they should let you be able to cash in the deal all day as long as you have it in your cart and no one is on a wait list for it.
