    1. Congrats Thunder!

in other news it looks like i will be locking up 3rd place unless the bears score 1,000 pts!? it could happen too with this crazy scoring system.

  1. One more win and the road to the Superbowl in the NFC goes through Atlanta and that's not good for everyone else.

    12-2

    1. I'm still bitter that the Steelers fell apart at the end of the game yesterday.

If we would have won, we would have clinched.

      1. @n8

i'm bitter too! Those Steelers cost me my $350 pool money! also i think they clinched a playoff spot despite the loss.

  2. There were some bad upsets yesterday from the picks I made, I really wasn't expecting Miami to lose like that, or for the Steelers to lose either. And the Panthers winning was unbelievable too, I know Arizona isn't the best out there, but I would have expected them to win over a previously 1-12 team.

I was, however, glad to watch my Colts win in the end when they desperately needed to win.

  3. I had an idea for a new trophy for the league. We should call it "No Consolation," award negative stars for it, and give it to the best team in the consolation bracket. As the owner of the team that's about to win it's 3rd straight consolation game after finishing as the first team out of the playoffs, I can attest to the fact that my "postseason" success is in fact, no consolation at all to how mediocre my team was all year long.

    1. It gets worse. In the past week:

Cliff Lee left the Yankees for Philly.

The 76ers beat the Nets (which is close enough).

and that group of hideous goons that dare call themselves a hockey team known as the Flyers… beat the Rangers.

Philly rubbed it's ass in the face of NY this week and said "Merry Christmas" afterward.

    2. Tough loss dude. I wanted to see the Giants beat the Eagles because the Eagles are the only team that scares me in the NFC. They always have my Falcons' number.

      1. I wonder if Mr. Padilla would be up for an Avatar bet between the L.A. Lakers and the Miami Heat game on Christmas day… that is assuming he is a Lakers' fan and is willing to put that reputation on the line.

      2. In that case, January 28th is when the Heat play the Pistons. Care to put an avatar wager on the outcome?
