You have the initial launch information on the Nintendo 3DS and a list of games in development. What do you think Nintendo’s upcoming portable will cost in America? The Japanese price is 25,000 yen, which is around $300. However, the yen is remarkably strong against the USD, so I doubt that’s what it’ll cost over here. Please take today’s poll and explain your choice in the comments section.

$280. Higher than PSPgo but cheaper than a PS3.
@smartguy You don't think Sony will have another price cut by March 2011?
$249. My gut said $229, but I think that they can get more than that at release for a month or two and then $229 will be roughly what the first price drop will take it to. I think they will have to justify the cost of the technology. Whether it really will cost them what they tell us it will cost them to make each unit- who knows. No matter what they will be able to get away with a higher price point initially because they are Nintendo and because everyone will want one of these things.
@All
anyone know the best place to get help setting up an extender on windows media center for my new 360? with everything wireless I wanna get that all situated but there is some problem on my laptop's end where it doesn't find the extender (360). And xbox.com gives only the most basic of solutions that I have found so far, which is basically a walkthrough that doesn't help me. thanks.
@Ray
Hard to say. Sony keeping the GO at its price currently helps them sell the psp3000 model. They'd have to drop the price on both types and I don't know they'd do it to both. The GO hasn't been dropped yet for that reason I think.
I hope people didn't think they would be getting 3D for cheap.
@bsu
have you tried using TVersity?
@ BSU
My guess (from ump-teen thousand miles away and not looking at it), is that your ports aren't configured to read it correctly.
I could be wrong though.
@Thundercracker
I will have to look into that as well.
@N8R
Could have sworn you were Iceman for about the last 10 minutes because of the Miami avatar. I am looking into that stuff now, but my 360 just started to download the new update for the beta of the new dashboard I think so I am gonna have to come back to the media center stuff in a bit. More new stuff to mess with in a few minutes hopefully!!
If it is priced between $200-250 and comes in black I might get it for my birthday.
I am watching World Series of Poker on ESPN3 through my xbox right now…I could get used to watching tv like this…
@Big Blak Black is one of the two launch colors.
Not even going to bother guessing on this one. My handheld knolege is not that strong.
@Ray
Never said it was going to be $300 in the U.S. Was just saying $300 is a price I would not pay for it. (As that is what the exchange rate for it is. What pricing model Nintendo will really use is not something I could form an opinion of my own on.)
