I wanted to see how much hard drive space you ladies and gents use on your primary console. With premium consoles armed with 250GB and some people installing drives larger than 500GB on their systems, I’m curious to learn if any of you need that much space. Kindly take today’s poll and let me know what your console hard drives are full of.

I had a 20GB HDD with my old 360 and that was filled to the brim. Now that I have the new 250GB one, I feel like a huge weight of rationing off hard drive space has been lifted from my shoulders. Ah, the freedom!

My 360 has a full 20Gb hard drive and I refuse to pay MS prices for another one.
My Fat PS3 had a 320Gb hard drive in it with 30-40Gb free. 20,000+ songs, several of my favorite movies, 100+ game demos, 20ish downloaded games.
My Slim PS3 has a 120Gb hard drive and I have no clue what it has free. Probably lots free without any music or movies on it. Just demos and games. I don't really feel like "setting" up this console since I plan on getting rid of it once I get the money together to get my Fat one repaired.
I voted for 40gb. Simply because I installed quite a few titles to my 360 and my PS3 has large installs.
Honestly I could be fine with a 20gb or less console seeing as how I do not want to purchase online content for them anymore. Being locked to that machine for a movie, or whatever you purchase not too mention having to be online to use paid for content has turned me off.
If it was possible, I'd play off of a 2gb flashdrive I guess.
So I had a modded 360 Elite for a year before I caught the ban hammer I used about 90gb on the 120gbhd. I could no longer use my Elite or my xbl gt on that hdd and had a extra 20gbhd around so thats what Im stuck with for now until I get the Slimbox 360. When I get the 250gbhd I think I'd use about 50gb or 60gb.
I'm at the 80+ mark on 360, more like 60+ with the 20 reserved hdd space on it. My PC has just under 70gb taken up by steam. (Which excludes my GFWL titles)
Well, my ps3 is the 60g one. And since it's replacement from the last one (RIP), I think I have about 17g left and knowing full well before the end of the year the rest will probably be filled up. I'll be looking into expanding soon. Cause I don't think I can have too much >_>

I have a 60gb hdd that I am constantly having to delete things off of to be able to add something new. It is quite frustrating, and even though I only have 60gb right now, I think I will easily find a way to use a good portion of a 250gb hdd when I am able to get the 360 S.
Honestly if digital distribution is really the way that the industry is headed then 250gb is going to be way to small, something like a 1tb hdd will be necessary to keep a decent game collection.
