You know you want it!
Sony Santa Monica director of product development Jon Hight noted:
Available this November — just in time for the holidays — fans and newcomers to the franchise will be able to experience the epic journey that is God of War and God of War II on the PlayStation 3 for the first time remastered in full HD resolution on a single Blu-ray Disc. Both critically acclaimed games (originally developed for the PS2) will include 2X anti-aliased graphics running at 60 frames per second for an ultra smooth gameplay experience on the PS3. PlayStation Network trophy support will also be included — a first for the series.
And don’t forget, the God of War Collection will also include a PSN voucher code for the God of War III E3 2009 Demo. So don’t miss your chance to check out God of War III before it hits store shelves in March 2010.
Check out the trailer and let me know what you think (please)!
AWESOME!!!!!!!
Do want.
Now I can replace my scratched GOW 1&2 and finally play the games again ^_^
I still have my ps2 copies but I will still pick this up.Both killer games!
I still have both GOW 1 and 2 on the PS2, but for me, this is a must buy. Trophies and it's remastered is HD makes it a buy alone. Oh, and the little God of War 3 demo included. :)
blakseed!
ty for joining us
And THIS is the MAIN reason I want a PS3, so I can FINALLY play these games!!!
That video has made me want to throw the first 2 in my PS3 and play them this weekend. It'll be cool to do a side-by-side comparison of the original and the HD.
1. I second what Thunder said- good to see ya Blakseed!
2. Maybe you fine fellows already know this, but Gamestop sent me an email saying the release date for this was moved a li'l bit, to 11/17. Which isn't so bad, that just gives us more time to concentrate on 'A Crack in Time'…
@TC and Redd
Thanks fellas. I think this will be my new hangout from now on lol.
@blakseed I'd be lucky to have you visiting regularly.
Thanks Ray. I like the laid back style of Ray.tv. I like how everyone is familiar with each other already and get along so well. You hardly see that many gaming sites where people get along anymore and I hope Ray.tv continues to grow and becomes that site where gamers and tech heads just come to read up on news they're excited about and meet cool people in the process.
Keep up the good work Ray.
