Coffee Talk #672: Emma Watson Will Rule 2017

Emma Watson 2017

Emma Watson is going to rule 2017. I’m fairly certain of this. This isn’t like the time I watched Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and thought, “That Alex Winter has a huge future in Hollywood.” It’s not like the first time I saw The Rockers and thought, “Man, Marty Janetty needs to get rid of that other guy.” Shortly before the release of Beauty and the Beast and for the rest of the year, Emma Watson will own 2017.

The early clips of Beauty and the Beast (a pair embedded below for your convenience) look amazing. It looks like a frame-for-frame real-life recreation of the best Disney animated movie of all time. Emma Watson is an intelligent and beautiful woman in real life. Beauty and the Beast’s Belle is an intelligent and beautiful woman in the movie. The casting is perfect and the role should show off Emma Watson’s gorgeous spunkiness brilliantly. She even does a commendable job (for someone that isn’t a professional singer) paying tribute to Paige O’Hara’s incredible voice from the animated movie. I’m positive that the movie will rule and elevate Emma Watson’s radiant star to a whole new stratosphere (in the atmospheric sense, not like that crap Las Vegas casino).

Beauty and the Beast and the role of Belle are already iconic, thanks to the animated film. The upcoming movie should solidify its status as an all-time classic. It should also transform Emma Watson — already globally known from the Harry Potter films — into an all-time superstar. Think about that for a second. There’s a chance that this movie will become her calling card, supplanting the ridiculously successful Harry Potter franchise as the thing she’s best known for. It sounds crazy, but it could happen.

As a huge mark for Beauty and the Beast and a bigger mark for Emma Watson, I’m looking forward to the movie and the actress lording over 2017. I’m positive that this is going to happen and that it will be glorious. Then again, I have been wrong about British people before; I’m tremendously frustrated that Russell Brand isn’t the biggest comedic star in the world. Anyway, what do you think of my prediction? Will Beauty and the Beast be amazing? Will the movie lead to Emma Watson becoming Queen of 2017? Leave a comment and let me know (please!).
