Rush Limbaugh on The Dark Knight Rises Bane Conspiracy

Congratulations to Rush Limbaugh for saying the stupidest sh*t I’ve heard all year! The popular conservative commentator believes that the Bane character in The Dark Knight Rises is part of a left-wing conspiracy against Mitt Romney. Limbaugh believes that the villainous Bane will get voters to think negatively about Bain Capital and Romney.

Wow. This is just beyond stupid. I must invoke the immortal words of will.i.am and ask, “What’s wrong with the world momma?!?”

    1. I am not sure is capable of just being silly. He is more than likely very serious about that comment, even though that would imply Batman Forever was also made for the same reason…

      1. I've read two of his books. He considers himself an entertainer. I don't think he believes even half of what he says.

I don't listen to his radio show so I'm not defending what he does or says…I just have doubts about his motive.

      2. I also think that Rush is two parts actor and one part "conservative" mouthpiece since there is some evidence to suggest that what he does and what he says are two different things (surprise, surprise!) For example, Elton John and him are friends to the point that Elton sang at Rush's wedding and according to Sir John, Rush sends him "beautiful e-mails." This does not match up with the gay-bashing Limbaugh spits out on his show from time to time.

    1. "When Gotham is in ashes, Bane Capital will maximize returns by leveraging it's 93% investment in Gotham Ash Collections, Inc."

      This comment is awesome.
