Following the recent rumor that the iPhone 5 will be available on Sprint in October, MacTrast has posted a story that claims Apple’s next iPhone will be available on T-Mobile as well. If both rumors pan out then the iPhone will be available on all four major American carriers. That’s a potentially huge happening that could shake up the U.S. market.

  1. It's going to happen android devices are the #1 smartphone because apple was exclusive for so long to with at&t and people wanted a smartphone but not at&t. This is similar to me like game exclusivity for consoles it only lasted for so long before devs gave up and wanted to enjoy more profits so they started to sell to both.

    1. There's also only one current model of iPhone and umpteen models of Android phones.

Boost has Android phones for Christ's sake.

    2. That analysis is pretty specific to the U.S. Market, which is certainly big, but just a piece of the pie. In most other regions, the iPhone is available on multiple carriers and/or available unlocked.
