Media Molecule has revealed details on the Pirates of the Caribbean level pack for LittleBigPlanet. The pack will be available on December 22, 2009 for $5.99. It includes:

  • New Gameplay features for Create: Water — Global Water Object, Scuba Gear, Bubble Machine, Water Switch
  • 5 Brand new Pirates of the Caribbean themed Levels
  • 1 New costume: The Cannibal: Leg Bands, Teeth, Nose Decoration, Hair, Loincloth, Skin

  • 14 Decorations
  • 27 Objects
  • 133 Stickers
  • 11 brand new PlayStation® Trophies

  1. Is it just the level pack or are they selling the pirate costumes as well? God, my wife is going to go nuts over this.

  2. They'll most likely sell the costumes seperately like they always do, and the level pack will hold it all. Fricking LBP is the only game I dump money into, argh!!!

  3. No joke Cami. The kid loves building levels and the wife loves the collection and costume aspect of the game. Constantly getting whatever new costumes they come out with.

  4. LoL I believe it. I spent so many hours digging thru other's lvls to get ideas for my own. And mine still suck xD! But it's still one of my favorite games to play.

  6. @RROD – I haven’t either, though it’s on my list of things to do. I am honestly amazed at the levels some of the folks in the community have built. My roommates son put together some amazing Super Mario levels and made his own costume pieces out of stickers.

    Personally, I am waiting for ModNation Racers to let my creativity go for a ride. LBP on a Mario Kart track of my own design. Good lord, can’t wait.

  7. I don't have the patience to properly put LBP's editor to use. That thing is TOO in-depth for @_@

    I've got a pretty awesome obstacle course mountain that has been in the works for a long time now, but I just don't have the time to work on it and get it done due to the insane number of options. Maybe I need to see if I can use a mouse and keyboard….that could speed it up…

    Ditto on Mod Nation Racers. THAT I really look forward to. Uber Mario Kart FTW!!!
