I’m going to be away from my home consoles most of this weekend. My parents are in Universal City because my Dad is attending some sort of accounting conference (which, I imagine, is like E3…but 1,000 times less interesting). I’ll be trekking up there tomorrow to spend some time with them. Naturally, I’ll have my iPhone and iPad with me. That means lots of Civilization: Revolution, as well as my latest addiction, Angry Birds Star Wars. I should be sick and tired of Angry Birds at this point, but adding a dose of Star Wars totally works for me. It shouldn’t be this much fun…but it is.
How about you? What’s on your weekend playlist?
Payday 2 and I might buy FF14 or Wonderful 101

I bought my very first Game on Demand. Bully: Scholarship Edition for $4.00. I couldn’t help it. At that price, it’s an impulse buy that I can purchase with the change I found between my sofa cushions. It was a PS2-era game that I’ve always wanted to play, but never got around to doing so. I’ll probably start it this weekend.
Also, I have to finish up the advanced co-op missions for Red Dead Redemption. So close to completing the game, but I need to find a few good people to help out.
… where the hell is N8 when you need him?

You sir need to be a PC gamer so you can partake in Steam, GoG, Amazon, and Green Man.
Origin excluded
I used to be only on PC and I do have a Steam account, I just haven’t been on it in a few years.
I just need a proper PC to use for gaming as my six-year-old MacBook Pro isn’t cutting it anymore. This may sound weird, but I don’t have a typical desk anywhere in my house that would be required for a tower and a monitor. When we first moved in a few years ago we had planned one room to be the “office” but having a baby quickly turned that into a nursery.
A laptop and console gaming is more convenient for me, although I am getting pretty sick of the console manufacturers’ superiority complex as the next generation dawns upon us. I would actually be petty enough to revel in their misery if no one would buy their upcoming consoles (a’la Wii U) so that the balance of power would shift back to the consumer. But I know that’s not going to happen because consumers are sheep.

You can get away with a laptop these days. i5 and i7 chips are so damn good. Likewise with a desktop. I’ll help you build one if you would like.
