I’m done playing secret project game, so this weekend I’ll be able to devote all of my time and attention to Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition for Mac OS. As I mentioned in the last Coffee Talk column, playing this game is like reuniting with an old lover. I’m having so much fun rediscovering the joys of Baldur’s Gate — the remake has been exceeding my high expectations. It’s everything I loved about the original, combined with updated graphics and several features from the sequel (class kits rule!). I’ve spent much more time with Lord Ra Ra (currently a level eight assassin) and need to give R.Pad (a prospective fighter-thief) some game time over the weekend.
On a side note, you know the nation of Amn in The Forgotten Realms? In my head, young citizens of Amn are called Amnlettes. That’s hilarious, right?!? *sigh* No one gets me….

I’ll be playing more of the FF:XIV:RR Beta this weekend. Hopefully the restructures going through Sqenix don’t get this game canceled.
I am really looking forward to this game.
I’ll be playing some games I received from gamefly. Dishonored, Lego batman 2, the walking dead survival game, NHL 13, gta 4, and black ops 2.
That’s quite the variety there! My attention span is odd. Usually I can only focus on two games at a time, maybe three. Perhaps that’s because when I was a full-time videogame editor I was forced to spend time with multiple games at once, which kind of takes away from the fun.
U need some palette cleansers ray. The only one that may require some actual attention is dishonored. Im taking advantage of gamefly offering me to start my membership. 1 month for $1.
I’ll beat Bioshock Infinite and then either purchase Monster Hunter for Wii U or 3DS or Luigi’s Mansion.
I recommend Luigi’s Mansion. I always hear good things about Monster Hunter, but it doesn’t seem like my cup of tea. LM is great fun though, and the multiplayer is well done (assuming you don’t get play with trolls, but that goes for any game).
More SM3DL, Luigi’s Mansion, with a splash of L4D2. All (except L4D2) while watching the Justice League on Netflix, or Game of Thrones season 2 on my hdd.
FFXIV: ARR beta some more for me. Tho now I’m looking in to upgrade my pc. That and now I have the shiny Pikachu 3DS so maybe Castlevania: LoS: MoF :)
I just finished Tomb Raider and Assassin’s Creed 3’s DLC (Infamy of King Washington) episodes 1 and 2 today.
I think next on my list will be to buy “Dust: An Elysian Tail” since it’s on sale now and I’m curious about the game. After that I have Dishonored and the Mass Effect Trilogy sitting on my shelf unopened.
