Here’s the second trailer for The Hobbit, directed by Peter Jackson. The clips looks beautiful, supporting the theory that sorcery exists in New Zealand. The brief action sequences look epic. The characterization appears charming, blending old favorites from The Lord of the Rings trilogy and new (old?) characters.

It looks great. Hmm… I can’t decide if The Hobbit is a better story for a movie or LOTR?
LotR was adapted way better than I thought it would be. Prior to seeing those movies, I would have said the The Hobbit. (Dragons = Awesome) Now, it’s tough to say.
Yes. I will watch it in IMAX 3-D if available too.
