What Are You Playing This Weekend?

There are so many games I want to play this weekend! Of course I’m still loving Final Fantasy XIII-2. It looks like I’ll be playing the game way longer than I thought I would (more on that in Coffee Talk). I’m really intrigued by Asura’s Wrath and will definitely give it some time this weekend. I’m reviewing PokePark 2 for the fine folks at Machinima. My dance card is full!

  1. Portal 2. The wife and I finished the single-player campaign and we will be starting the co-op part when we get a chance.

    The story was awesome and it was a great sequel. The addition of Wheatly was what made that game amazing. It's probably one of the best sequels of a game I've ever played.

    Valve, I love you guys. If any of you people are reading this, I would like to take out your entire development team to dinner if you ever come down to South Florida.

    … now please get to work on Half-Life 2, Episode 3!!!

  2. League of Legends or Deus Ex.

    Swtor has not held my interest since leveling up 2 toons. The end game is just not interesting.

  3. SWTOR. Working on a Sith Inquisitor now. Lots of fun.

    Also, more SoulCalibur V. Though I do feel like it's just more of the same, only some of the faces have been changed to protect the innocent…

    1. I agree about SC5. I also dislike how they changed up some mechanics and my best guy. Now I'm stuck using my backup and learning a new guy.

      I miss the old guard impact system.

      1. I was a Kilik guy, and I hate the guy they replaced him with, Xiba (Frankly, I don't care how hungry he is). Apparently he is in the game, I just haven't unlocked him yet or something, idk. My backup was Taki, also now gone, and not in the game at all. At least Maxi is still in there…

  4. I'll be playing Uncharted: Golden Abyss on my (replacement) PS Vita. I had to start over, but I wasn't very far into the story, so it's alright. One of my friends invited me to do a Let's Play for Minecraft with him and another guy, so I might end up doing that too.

    1. Yeah, never mind anymore. Uncharted's too short. I beat it already.

      They should have made a multiplayer option for others like me.

      1. Okay, my problem's fixed; impulsive spending hooked myself up with a copy of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend. Which will last me a good couple of weeks on the story mode alone.

  6. I'll be playing SSX this weekend, probably more 2K12, and hopefully some Pokemon Black if I get some time.

  7. Bought Serious Sam BFE and Deus Ex off of Steam. On sale for $10-$13 each. Solid buys.

    Oh and give Tim Schafer money if you already haven't.

  10. I'm really enjoying SSX so far. This is exactly the kind of game I have been wanting to play for a while now so I am just eating this up. My only complaint is if I were buying this game used I would have to buy an online pass should I choose to play online. I'm not in favor of this business model for online games.
