Before you cancel your Netflix subscription (or not in light of Qwikster game rentals), I highly recommend catching Bangkok Adrenaline. This action movie totally caught me by surprise. It’s a classic martial arts movie that was made in 2009. And when I say “classic martial arts movie”, I mean it has that awesome combination of incredible martial arts and brilliant choreography mixed with laughable acting and chintzy production values. Brilliant stuff.
I was initially drawn to this movie because I missed Thailand, but I was quickly captivated by Daniel O’Neill’s martial arts. He mixes tae kwon do, kung-fu, and capoeira to form a wonderfully telegenic fighting style. Also, I was surprised to see the dude that play Gregor Clegane (The Mountain) in Game of Thrones. Also (x2), Priya Suandokmai is frickin’ hot! If you’re a fan of martial arts movies and gorgeous half-Swiss half-Thai women then stream Bangkok Adrenaline as soon as you’re able to.
Now its your turn to suggest one movie we should all watch. Please make sure it’s available on Netflix streaming.
I feel like you put this here for just me hahaha, I'm definitely going to watch this, I may even watch it at work today if it is slow enough.
It's worth a look for sure. Really fresh martial arts and wonderfully bad acting.
Of course… something to do when you could be playing MK.
"I may even watch it at work today if it is slow enough. "
Key word is work lol.
Really? Because in that sentence, the key word seems to be "may" with a side of "if".
I thought you were implying that I was at home "hiding", that is why I chose to highlight the word work.
So you're hiding at work so you don't have to go home and play MK against N8R???
You hit it right on the button because I'd rather be @ work instead of playing Xbox.
Shame… you coulda been home, I was out all day.
I gave my son a 1600 point card and the first thing he did was dress his avatar up like Voltron complete with the sword.
Your son knows whats up!!!
I only get to pick one? that's tough.
If it can be a show… I recommend Sports Night.
I was pleasantly surprised by this flick.
Don't be surprised. I suggested it. :p
