What Are You Playing This Weekend?

My weekend will be all about reading and gaming on my iPad 2. I’m thoroughly enjoying George R.R. Martin’s A Dance with Dragons and hope to knock out several more chapters this weekend. To break things up, I’ll throw in some gaming too. Civilization Revolution is pretty much a daily thing for me. I’m really digging Groove Coaster too. Rage HD is free for a limited time, so I’m going to give that whirl.

  1. I'm finally trying to beat AC: Brotherhood and would like to finish it by the end of this week. Also, I'm trying to finish The Laws of Nine by Terry Goodkind before his new book, The Omen Machine, comed in the mail. About a third done so far.

  2. I finally got a Mac mini on Tuesday and just started making some beats so I don't even know if I'm going to play games.

    If I get to the Xbox I may finish BulletStorm, I'm in the mood for something light and less engaging.

  7. Well I'm working on the weekends now mostly (which sucks because my wife's schedule just got changed to working only during the week and every weekend off) so not a ton of gaming most likely. I might play some more pokemon. I gave chaining for shinies a chance before but no luck yet after about 10 hours put into it. Playing some Halo: Reach now, I just have 2 more achievements I want to get (@Iceman how did you get an oddball match on Halo?? They refuse to come up when I play!). Maybe some more CoD with Tokz or some L4D2 finally. We are also going to a Sox game tomorrow night because we got free tickets from some friends.

    Speaking of Chicago baseball, I heard this interesting fact the other day which I still find hilarious. The Ottoman Empire still existed the last time the Chicago Cubs won a World Series. And now you know…

  8. Apparently im playing black ops with bsu?!? J/k. More than likely black ops i got my invite for the cod elite beta so i shouls put that to use lol. Also i need to get MS points for the MK Freddy DLC and i think thats it.

    1. I should be on tomorrow late morning early afternoon. Then the Sox game that night. Sunday and today were my work days this weekend.

    3. That reminds me, I need to play the first one. Everyone tells me that it was a good game.

  10. I would join you in your quest for the Noble achievement, but I got that one legit on my own already :) lol. If I see you online sometime I might send you an invite to a quick custom game or two then. I only need to get the oddball achievement and the one for stealing two flags from the enemy in a game of stockpile (I think that's what it is). Actually I might join you guys anyways if there is room and you are doing this when I am going to be able to be online, but that will only work if it's early in the afternoon.

    I don't mind some of those achievements, like the oddball one, but then it sucks that the oddball games rarely ever come up. It would be different if they were frequently picked game types, but the rarity of them is what makes them so frustrating.

  11. Minecraft abducted my social life and brought me into a forced marriage with obsession. I'll try to spread the love to my PSP, but I'll make no promises.

    1. That's ok…pokemon did that to me for a while. It was time well spent, but I eventually had to spread the love to my xbox again for a bit.

  12. Just finished A Dance With Dragons. I loved it, especially the last 1/3 of the book. As expected, there were some nice surprises and a lot more questions. Hopefully the next book doesn't take so long….
