I have a pretty full weekend of video editing, but I definitely want to play some Dragon Age II: Legacy and Bastion. I already beat Legacy once, but want to go through it more thoroughly and with some of my other Dragon Age II characters. I’m super psyched to jump into Bastion. On paper, the game should be right up my alley — a quirky action-RPG with a unique art style and tone. I’m positive I’ll love it.
How about you? What’s on your weekend playlist?
I'm going to play the hell out of From Dust this weekend.
I'm playing Dawn of War II: Retribution. This game is going to eat a lot of my time as there are six campaigns for me to play and I am curios if they are victory scenarios like in Dark Crusade or different views of the same event. Either way it is looking real good and making me want Dawn of War III real bad.
Hopefully some League of Legends.
I'm playing Crysis 2, magic 2012, and maybe infamous 2 or limbo.
Battlefield 3 Alpha Trial & Crysis 2
I'm busy playing the wedding game. That's why I wasn't around yesterday. Bachelor party last night downtown Chicago. Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner (lunch?) today which we just finished up. Getting everything else situated tonight and trying to relax and hang out with friends. Then I get to sleep in a little bit tomorrow (fiance will have to be up early to get ready of course) then pictures and the ceremony and reception. Long days, but the time is finally here!!
Not sure I will be able to update or post much the rest of the weekend or next week, but I will be back soon enough. I'll be able to use facebook and twitter on my blackberry though if you wanna get ahold of me though (and of course texting).
I should probably start playing the unpacking game at some point today. Just got back from a week visiting family and old friends back home in Connecticut.
Lost a day in Chicago on the way out there thanks to bad weather last weekend and some serious hospitality issues with American Airlines. I ended up spending 22 hours in O'Hare airport. I don't recommend doing that with a 4 year old.
But otherwise it was good seeing people I hadn't seen in a long time, and actually having more than just a long weekend to try and fit as many people as a I could in. But thanks to the jet lag I'm really in no mood to do anything but lounge around and play video games all day. Maybe all week. We'll see….

Today is MTV's 30th birthday.
The second worst part is that I remember when MTV was cool and new. But the worst part is that MTV is doing nothing about it on MTV and they don't seem to care that they were once edgy and cool.
It's a new breed out there N8, it's a new breed.
It's a new breed out there N8, it's a new breed.
Honestly, I think you have to blame Viacom for some (if not most) of their (MTV's) problems. Edgy and cool are for scrappy, "take-no-prisoners" small-time underdogs while media megaliths like Viacom like to play it safe and not push the envelope with "Wane's World" kind of content (or, uh, the modern-day equivalent) and draw too much attention to themselves.
