Apple has released Mac OS X Lion today, arguably the most drastic change to the operating system in years. A lot of the features point to Mac OS and iOS converging in the future, but there’s a lot more to it than that. Have any of you downloaded it yet? If so, I’d love to hear your initial thoughts. Please share!

I'll put this off for a month. I'm not sure this is a necessary upgrade for me.
I'm reading that Flash is having issues right now. I don't mind that on my phone but on my desktop it's an issue. I'll wait this out.
Not for me yet… I probably won't update until I require Adobe CS6.
That and I burnt out my DVD drive burning discs so it doesn't read very well. Therefore, updating OSX has proved to be a pain in the ass requiring a secondary drive that I don't have and need to borrow.
Hiccups n'at.
Good news. The update is only distributed via Mac App store or you can order a $70 version on a flash drive next month. Did you see that the new minis do not even come with optical drives?
I'll update eventually, just not now.
It makes sense considering what the mini is and given where tech is at now. It's crazy for sure though.
I don't foresee myself buying Lion right now. Not as it is anyway. I use Expose all the time, and from what I'm reading the functionality isn't the same. Instead of fanning out everything on screen, it's in a stack. That really defeats the purpose if you ask me. There are a few other quirks, but none that can't be changed by Settings. I wonder if they will even allow this next time around? I really don't like being forced to use my machine in a new way that is contrary to the way I've used it the last 20 years. Perhaps this is their Vista?
Awww yea! I'm getting a Mac mini after I get out of work today. I'll let you know what I think of Lion later but I will tell you now that it is great because my old mac was running OS 9.2 (Moonlight).
