I have a ton to do before I head up to San Francisco for GDC 2011 on Monday. I’ve been missing DC Universe Online, but I don’t think I’ll be heading back to Gotham or Metropolis this weekend. My copy of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together finally arrived yesterday. This would have come in handy during my crazy Orlando trip. I shouldn’t play too much of it over the weekend…but I know that I won’t be able to resist. It’s my favorite genre and made by one of my favorite developers (Yasumi Matsuno).
How about you? What’s on your weekend playlist?
Mafia 2, AC:Brotherhood, and Bayonetta.
I've been playing Mafia 2 more that anything else lately because I love the music lol.
Whatever you do, don't even attempt to comprehend the story of Bayonetta. If you do, I'm afraid your head might explode.

Rift. So far, so good.
Killzone 3 & Bulletstorm
And You Don't Know Jack. Man I love that game. I had it on PC a long time ago. This version is a bit of a let down as far as options go and the add-on pack not being available AND the questions are always in the same order and the answers are in the same spot so once you've play a series there is NO replay value.
Oops that reads like I don't like it. But the Questions are awesome as always and thats all I wanted it for.
Trying to decide how to EV train some of my bulbasaurs. I can't decide which I should go with on one of them- 252 EVs on HP, or 252 EVs on Sp. Def., or a split between the two. I'm thinking 252 EVs on Sp. Def. would be the better choice. Also I will have to decide whether to keep poison powder or instead teach it grass knot. So far in my battling leech seed and poison powder have been a powerful combo, I suppose it depends on how effective I feel that combo stays at higher level battles.
This will pretty much be a weekend of pure breeding and training so I can get a lot out of the way before Black and White are released, since I will probably not be spending a lot of time on breeding gen. 1-4 pokemon soon. Which means I need to breed my Salamence this weekend/next week as well since I just got one off the GTS. I've also been able to do some other trades with people through the bulbagarden forums. If I get some time I will also be trying to figure out what some rare egg moves are because plenty of people seem to want to trade for rare egg moves.
You can max out two stats through EV training. Are you using substitute? If so then you definitely want to max out HP and special defense.
This one in particular is using almost all special attack moves so I have maxed out the Sp. Atk. EVs. I have others that will be using substitute and that one I am definitely planning on maxing out HP and Sp. Def. For this particular one it's just about whether it is better to max out the HP or Sp. Def. as a secondary.
If you're using leech seed and poison powder then special attack seems like a waste. What are the other two moves?
Sludge bomb, energy ball, leech seed, and on this one grass knot. I decided to use poison powder on one of my other bulbasaur's instead that would be better suited for being defensive, but this one I am trying mostly all Sp. Atk. moves with.
You made it sound like you were using poison powder AND leech seed. If you have three special attacks then you should train it like a special sweeper: special attack and speed.
I was thinking about that and decided to use that moveset (poison powder and leech seed) on one of them that I have, but not the one that I have trained for Sp. Atk. already. Didn't mean to cause confusion (that's zubat's job), I've just been juggling several different bulbasaurs and started talking about them all at once, I knew what I meant only because I know which ones I have—I just didn't write it very clearly.
I am also going to be breeding a salamence this weekend too, I just have to figure out what, if any, egg moves it should have so I can get that taken care of first.
I recently became a Minecraft addict, so I will be playing that all weekend. Also, the DA2 demo is out and like the new combat approach even though all they really did was remove auto-attack.
@All
For anyone who already plays or wants to play Words with Friends on iOS, I have recently started playing that a lot casually with random people. My username on there is bsukenyan5000 if anyone wants to play a game or several. Also, I've only won once out of maybe 8 games, so I can also help boost your confidence!! haha.
Killzone 3 and Killzone 3 only this weekend.
I just started a game up over my lunch break. I was using the Motion controller. I don't think it will last very long though it is pretty tough to use.
The trophies in Killzone 3 are much easier than the Killzone 2 trophies. I can platinum Killzone 3.
Do any of the Killzone trophies make you do anything crazy like: "Kill two guys with one bullet while it ricochets off of the side of a truck that is plowing into the side of a building?"
-M
Nope, just the usual like kill 3 guys with one grenade or kill 5 guys without reloading.
Man, I've been slacking off on my game-playing this week. Responsibility sucks ass. I can't imagine it is going to get any better with a baby on the way.
Oh well. I'm still working on getting all the achievements in Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Hey, Big Blak, you think we could team up and do the co-op on realistic difficulty this weekend? Are you good at this game? I can hold my own.

According to USPS i should've received KZone 3 and DCUO today. I'll find out whenever i get home whether that's true or not. If so you can add that to my queue of games i'm playing along with Mafia 2, Uncharted and Black OPs.
Maybe I won't be playing Rift. The queues are 2 hours long. Successful headstart and launch I guess.
