we're int he playoffs this week. thank god i had a bye week! i think i would've lost to the 8th seed!
Oh now you like the bye weeks!!!
yeah when it benefits my team yeah!!!
Haha!
Yeah I got slaughtered. Take a look at my team this week if you need a good laugh. I think I need to have a harsh talk with Kyle Orton at this point.
@Tokz
This probably means you will end up winning with the trophies though, because I will most likely get more negative trophy points this week, and I am already 3-4 behind you.
@BSU
you should tell him to grow his beard back. he was doing better with the beard.
The trophy title won't be as sweet without a championship, that is my goal. I will be running
practices 3 times a day now.
@Tokz
Yeah maybe that's what I should make him do. He has been so up and down, and my QB points have ended up being pretty vital. He has gotten over 500 points for the past couple games so I figured he would be a better bet than than Eli Manning or Donavon McNabb considering how they are both playing…but no…Orton got me a cool 128 points this week. I would even taking Manning's 260ish points right now because that might even be just enough for me to win! lol.
Good luck with those 3 a days.
we were both pathetic this week bsu
I heard rumors of the Bills moving to L.A.
I doubt them though.
i love my bills so much, but i dont see how that option cant be on the table at this point
i think the vikings are likely though
They wouldn't move to the Coliseum, because USC will see to it that no NFL team moves there.
However, there are talks of them building a new stadium Downtown.
Lots of interesting speculation here.
There's a proposal to build a stadium next to the Staples Center. Unfortunately, the LA Convention Center, which hosts E3 and numerous other events, would be torn down and relocated. That's a big wrench in the plan.
There's a more reasonable plan for a stadium in San Gabriel Valley, but that location isn't nearly as attractive.
AEG's owner has allegedly bought 35% of the Chargers. The intent, again allegedly, is to move them to LA.
We made need a whole thread to discuss this.
I've heard all of this too. There are several wrenches in the works.
The Coliseum is the obvious choice, but USC has a share on the board there. They want to keep it for themselves and keep the pros out (which is a dick move to the city).
I've heard the AEG stuff, but San Diego has a bit of a following. It may be hard to get the Chargers out of SD.
The most likely candidate for moving that I've heard is Buffalo. The city is not giving them the money they could use (because they don't have it and the Bills suck).
Many more things could be said about this.
Truthfully though, the threat of L.A. not having a team has made more money for the league ever since the Rams left.
All the teams that want more money from the cities have been able to say "Hey… we can always move to L.A."
I think the Jags are the most likely candidate to move to L.A. honestly. Their home stadium rarely sells out.
I probably lost my Fantasy game, but I don't care because…
STEELERS!!!!!
We barely beat Baltimore last night and odds are it will secure the Division for us.
you would've toppled a Fantasy Football giant, if the top 2 seeds didn't have a bye week! The Fantasy Football gods were looking out for me on that one.
Is this the best year Tom Brady has ever had (so far)?
i dont believe so. i think you forgot about his 4k passing and 49 or 50 TD passes in a year when Randy Moss got there.
I wasn't speaking from a pure statistical standpoint. Has he ever done more with less?
i think this is what he was doing during those early super bowl winning years.
I would have to agree with Ray.
