Looks like I'm barely squeaking out a win this week in FF.
I hate the fucking Eagles.
I'd like to thank Eli Manning, Mario Manningham, Terrel Owens, and the Cardinals defense for screwing up big time this week. I was really looking for this to be a much closer game than be such a blowout by Tokz. I think this might only be the 2nd or 3rd time this season that he has outscored me, and this week was a slaughter!

Haha, now if only it would have worked beforehand. In all honesty I was thinking our QB and Defense scores would be switched considering what each of them have been scoring throughout the season. Its been a while since Eli Manning has only scored in the 300’s. No matter what though you had me before it all started with your RB’s.
I wish Frank Gore would’ve been able to score 100 points in my other league. I’m going to lose my game in that league. I’m projected to lose by 5 points. It sucks to know if i would’ve started Ben over Vick i wouldn’t have to worry about that.
Yeah. I know what you mean. I’ve had scenarios like that before. I could have beaten Big Blak earlier in the season I believe if I would have started a different QB and Defense (they would have scored almost 1500 by themselves). And if I would have had similar changes this week I could have put up a better fight. That’s how it goes I guess.

I lost by 30 and in our league thats like losing by a point. Randy Moss laid a big fat goose egg.

I just remembered that next Sunday is my first bye week…I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself now! Gotta hope things still go my way so I don't lose my lead in the trophies race.

Yeah I'm not happy about having to take 2 bye weeks, especially in a row. Just another reason I was so upset about my loss this week because it was my last chance for a win.
If I win this week, I'll finish up at a wholly undeserved 6-5, because on paper my team is terrible. I mean, I'm starting Josh Freeman at QB for Christ's sake…..

You k now i was checking the schedule and it looks like we all have a bye week in week 13.
It's good to see that all of our players will be well rested before the playoffs.
haha yeah. Well then you will possibly be leading by 2 in the trophy race then when we start the playoffs. And I still have to hope I make it into the playoffs. Somewhere it used to say who the projected teams were in the playoffs, but I can't find that anymore.
go to standings and it will have small link at the top that says projected playoff bracket.
right now we are scheduled to face each other again as i will be the #3 and you will be the #6.
I feel sorry for the #1 and #2 seeds as they will have another bye week for the first round; that will make it two bye weeks in a row. Their players are going to be pretty rusty out there on the field first game back.
Ahh I see it now. Well that just means I have to get my QB and Defense in order for that game.
I'm also curious to see how it will work when the regular season is over. Will we be restricted to the players we have already? Will we be able to make trades and changes in our roster? Because if so, couldn't we theoretically just pick up a bunch of the other players who are freed up by not being on someone else's team and use them? Or maybe I just should've kept my mouth (hands??) shut (from typing??)…lol
There's a bracket for the non-playoff teams, so that sort of thing doesn't happen.
Well the trade deadline is up dec 1st. you can pick up people from the waivers all throughout the playoffs.
gotcha..ok that makes sense then. I didn't know we had a trade deadline, and I just saw the second bracket.

dude you think you have issues with Josh Freeman. I have Ryan Fitzpatrick, i'm lucky that my team is 6-3. i could probably end up 6-5 as well. your team is better than mine and should beat me this week.
Any team that relies so heavily on WR's as mine does, isn't very good. WR play in FF is so inconsistent because even if you've got the 3 best WR's in football, you never know when they're going to have one of the weeks when they combine for 2 catches, 11 yards and no TD's.

Yeah I had to rely on WR's instead of RB's a lot. I had the two top RB's from the draft, and Addai (always a good RB to have) and now two of them are hurt, and I haven't been able to get any other decent RB on a consistent basis on my roster.
I've gotta tell you BSU, this is the first FF league in 3 years that I haven't had Joseph Addai, and I'm glad I don't. The guy's a fantasy killer. His numbers are wildly inconsistent because depending on the week and Peyton Manning's general mood, he can see anywhere from 5-25 carries. I would routinely end up searching for a replacement on the waiver wire, only to be stuck with him and his mediocre/inconsistent production because usually the best RB left on waivers is like NE's 3rd RB or something.
but then again, I have Brandon Jacobs, which has turned out to be this year's version of Joe Addai…..
I've been figuring that out this season. I'm already looking forward to next season so I can be a little more active in FF and have a better shot at drafting better team. Injuries have just been plaguing my team this season though.
For two quarters I thought the Lions were going to pull off an upset.
Yeah that was actually a decent game for 3 quarters before it totally got away from the Lions in the 4th. Usually they're out of the Thanksgiving day game by the middle of the 2nd.
