The HTC Desire HD has me drooling and this sizzle reel has increased my drool flow to waterfall levels (too gross for you?). Seriously though, this clip shows off this Google Android phone’s features, as well as the latest additions to HTC’s Sense user interface. While I found it interesting, I also found it too long. Most people aren’t going to watch a seven-minute video on a mobile phone. Perhaps the company should hire me to produce its videos. Ha!

That was worth all seven minutes. These HTC phones are getting better and better. Why choose anything else?
@Big Blak I'm keeping an eye on Samsung. Super AMOLED is fantastic tech. Touchwiz is getting better, though still not as good as HTC Sense. (That reminds me, I need to start my Samsung Fascinate review.) All that said, I wish this phone worked with T-Mobile's HSPA+ bands. I love the new Sense and the Desire HD's aluminum body.
@ R-Pizzle
Which Android phone do you personally use? If it is the Evo do you pay more for 4g? I'm asking because I wonder if Tmoblie is going to charge more for it. I also received a text from Tmo saying that a new network is available and will make my phone faster if it is compatible (which it isn't) could this be HSPA+?
@Big Blak Yes, that was about HSPA+. As far as I know, T-Mobile's pricing will be the same. A lot of phones out there will take advantage of HSPA+ to a limited extend, but for the full speeds you'd need a new phone like the T-Mobile G2.
I'm actually searching for the Android phone I want. I was going to settle with the Evo, but the morons at the Sprint Store and Sprint telesales pissed me off. I'm waiting for more details on the MyTouch HD, but I don't really like the Espresso version of HTC Sense. I like the Samsung Vibrant a lot, but I wish it had a flash.
Sane here. Can't find that one Android device I want. Droid X is nice but the facebook integration turns me off. I don't use any social networking. It seems allandroid devices are social network centric.
I want X specs with N1 stock OS.
@smartguy That stuff is easy to turn off or customize. What are your specific issues with it?
It wanting to link my contact list to a public info portal lol. It's a minor thing I know but I just don't care for that stuff running on top of my OS.
I just want a handset maker to give me vanilla Android without "enhancing" my experience. Let me use the market to enhance the device.
@smartguy That's actually the way Android is progressing. The latest version of Gmail for Android (FroYo only) is decoupled from the OS. Google mentioned this at the I/O conference — that more core features would be placed in the Android Market, allowing users to pick and choose what they want.
@Ray
Will that eliminate the custom UIs?
I have a strange suspicion that Touchwiz will be canned in Samsung's future handsets
@smartguy The feeling is that Google is nudging its partners towards modular customization that can be added through Android Market.
@Ray
Yeah a more Apple approach as far as control goes would be appreciated. I wonder how carriers are gonna react??
