WWE and YouTube Expand Partnership, Full Episodes Online

YouTube has announced that it has expanded its partnership with WWE. This snippet from the official YouTube blog says it all:

Wrestling fans, have we got a body-slam of an announcement for you. Today, we’re announcing a new partnership with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) that will bring full-length episodes of Friday Night Smackdown, WWE NXT, WWE Superstars and ECW to YouTube users in the U.S. on the WWE YouTube channel. In case that’s not enough pile-driving goodness for you, there will be even more clips from Monday Night Raw, footage from classic WWE matches, and videos from WWE Superstars and Divas like John Cena, Chris Jericho and Alicia Fox.

I’m sure all of you are thrilled that more Alicia Fox videos will be available online. *sigh* Could they have picked a lamer WWE Diva?!?

Seriously though, this is awesome news. Too bad WWE Raw isn’t part of the deal. That would make me think hard about cancelling my cable service (which I ultimately wouldn’t do because I’m a boxing fan).

You ladies and gents psyched for more Alicia Fox hotness (and full episodes of WWE programming)?!?

  1. Sweet. I get to watch NXT now. Hulu was annoying me a bit. I hope they have Trish and Mickie in their old footage. I'm not a fan of any of the divas now. Ok maybe Maryse, as of yesterday. idk what it was about she looked different and hot! (fine hotter than usual)

  2. I just saw this article about Owen's widow barely coming out and talking about Linda McMahon's moral standing for showing his videos and using his likeness. I don't see anything wrong with this. I actually think it's a great way to remember him and i wish they would. Just show everything but the way he died. It was tragic and i can't believe i saw it live on ppv.

Wow that hurt! was my thought then i was like it's WWE (WWF back then) they wouldn't let their guys do anything life threatening (yeah i know steroids, pain killers etc.) like that. I didn't know it was Owen i didn't have access to dirt sheets as often as i was in the Army at the time. I was sad when they reported that Owen died later on that night. so i guess to answer your question i thought it was work.
