Today’s poll is for Miz supremacy! Let’s meet the combatants.
WWE’s The Miz (Challenger): To use his catchphrase, “He’s The Miz…and he’s awesome!” Whether you love listening to his excellent promos or love to hate him, The Miz has come a long way from MTV’s The Real World. He used his fame from that reality show to make his way to WWE Tough Enough. From there he signed with the company. Although numerous WWE Superstars have given him a hard time backstage due to his reality television background, The Miz has carved out a successful career and is one of WWE’s most entertaining performers .
Tetsuya Mizuguchi (Champion): Out of respect (and because he’s just a super-cool guy), I’ve listed Mizuguchi-san as champion. Formerly a game designer and producer at Sega, Mizuguchi went on to start Q Entertainment. Known for crafting extremely stylish and addictive games, his design work includes Sega Rally Championship, Rez, Space Channel 5, Lumines, and more. He also produced Every Extend Extra, Meteos, and Gunpey. To put it simply, his games rock.

As much as I’ve been enjoying The Miz’s work over the last two years, Mizuguchi-san has been entertaining me for way longer. I’m going to vote for him. Which Miz will you vote for?!? Make your selection in the poll and explain your answer in the comments section if you have time.
Sega Rally Championship…haha I haven't played that in FOREVER. I used to fired up my Sega Saturn and put it on an Endurance race and play all day!
I love Lumines. I have 1 & 2 on my PSP and have/had Lumines on my PS3.
So easy win for Tetsuya Mizuguchi.
Mizuguchi, all day everyday. Lumines rocks!
Dude, HE MADE EVERY EXTEND EXTRA!!!
AZN MIZ FTW ( had to keep the 3 theme going, EEE)!!!
Ray tell that man (next time you see him) that he is responsible for many a hour of enjoyment through out my childhood and now into my adulthood. I SERIOUSLY LOVE Q ENTERTAINMENT FOR EEE.
I'm going withe the WWE's Miz. I hated that guy at first but he really grew on me. That guy is the future of the WWE.
@Big Blak To be clear, he produced EEE. He didn't design it.
@ RPAD
Whoops I got so excited that I didn't read it fully lol (that is why reading is fundamental kids).I REALLY love that game but whenever I bring it up no ones ever heard of it. In fact that was the first game I played on my hdtv. I want to produce something major before I die so I have the utmost respect for producers. Damn Ray thats awesome that you know him.
Sadly, the only other Republican on the GOP ballot in CT just dropped out of the race, leaving Linda McMahon as the only candidate running for the spot who will have their name on the ballot…..pretty much assuring that she'll win. This is a woman who's company has been investigated by the federal government for pushing drugs. I don't care what party you belong to, someone like this cannot seriously be considered a candidate in one of our elections.
@nightshade
the last few election cycles show that ppl like a face over substance. Sad I know. I'm gonna guess she is a shoe in with Chris Dodd bumbling the AIG bailouts.
Dodd's not running.
I guess it will be that much easier for her then.
@Smartguy: It's a blue state. She'll still be the underdog unless the Dems put up a bumbling idiot who lied about his military service in Vietnam.
Oh, wait…..they did.
Seriously though, this isn't about her politics, it's about the fact her company's been investigated by the very institution she wants to join.
@nightshade
I getcha. Gov't is just plain ludicrous though. Geithner and Rangel are tax cheats but one runs the treasury and the other wrote the tax code. That stuff goes from highest gov to lowest gov. Maybe it's a business move to get the Feds out of her billion dollar company.
^^not defending her.
Ok, but it's deregulation of Wall Street that led to the economic collapse, deregulation of the housing industry that led to the housing bubble that recently burst, and deregulation of the banks that led to the mortgage crisis. So it's not like we can just let business run rough-shot over government either.
Frankly, I'm a registered Dem, but I'd love a viable moderate party in this country/
I'm a libertarian. I think the people who over extended themselves are as much to blame.
See, that's partly true as well. That's why you need a happy medium of regulation and free enterprise. It's the backbone of Keynesian Economics.
the problem with keynesian economics (trickle down is not without issues either) is that it relies on competent people making policies. Those competent people would hopefully be responsible as well. I feel that such has not been the case in this country for nearly 50 years.
I'm of the school of thought that the legislature should be controlled by one party, and the executive by the other. It works so well that way. Reagan and Clinton terms worked so well because the opposite party controlled and vice versa. I'm not saying that it has to be a mandate that only (fill in blank party) can be in power in this branch, but that I wish the voting public looked at it that way.
I agree that some regulation has to be in effect to spur on fair consumer practices and protections. I think dictating how much ppl can make in non gov't jobs is going too far though. It's a narrow line to follow for sure.
I love these heady tangents you guys go on — pure awesomeness!
The truth… all economic plans at this point are pointless because of the Fed. It's been a deteriorating notion since Woodrow Wilson. People have come up with moderately good temporary solutions in the meantime, but they were and are all destined for failure as long as we're spending reserve notes that aren't even worth the paper they're printed on.
The only current politician I've seen or heard of that took note of this is Ron Paul. However, he alone can't do anything about it anymore. We aren't exactly living in the days of Andrew Jackson anymore.
@N8R
I knew I liked you for a reason lol.
